Continuing Education: Upon successful completion of the
course, CMI students will receive a certicate awarding 2.3
CEUs. The CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is a nation-
ally recognized unit of measure for continuing education and
training programs that meet certain criteria.
Tax Deduction of Expenses: An income tax deduction is al-
lowed for expenses of education (including registration fee,
travel, meals and lodging) undertaken to maintain and improve
professional skills. (See U.S. Treas. Regulation 1.162.5.)

This course will include information on uid ow, gating
design, heat transfer, solidication and riser design.
Gating and riser design for ferrous casting alloys includes
information for gray, ductile, malleable, white alloyed
irons and carbon, low-alloy and high-alloy steels.
Course Location details and hotel group rate will be
provided upon registration. Room block release date
is 2 weeks prior to course.
