The most important code of Vaishnavism is that it discourages division
amongst them on the basis of Brahmin and Non-brahmins. You will know
this fact from the life History of Sri. Raamaanuja, who himself
demonstrated his conviction through his conduct.
A person classifies himself as belonging to a group not by his birth, but
by his nature and profession. All professions are important and there is
no comparative rating. Every one is equal and it is strongly advised that
this complex relating to brahmin and Non-brahmin be discarded. There is
no caste advocated in scriptures.
Therefore, any one who wants to practice Vaishnavism can undergo this
Panchasamskaaram. Any learned person, who is qualified to
Panchasamskaara, can be approached for getting this done and he will
gladly do this.

Sri Ramanuja practised and propagated Bhagavad Gita in true sense
(essence).
