The Rapu-Rapu Polymetallic Project (RRPP) strongly participated as


silver sponsor and greatly contributed to the success of the recently con-
cluded Mining Philippines 2009 Conference and Exhibition recently held last
September 15-17 at Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila.

With the theme “Strengthening Competitiveness,” the 3-day conference


focused on development and investment trends, outlook for minerals and met-
als, maximizing profits through strategic investments and creative funding
structures, and highlighting mining opportunities and projects in
the Philippines. The event brought together over 40 mining companies includ-
ing investment and financial houses, commodity traders, suppliers, and other
industry stakeholders. The event was attended by 682 visitors, 267 local and
international delegates, 29 speakers, 27 exhibitors, and ten sponsors. Media
coverage with 28 media representatives was extensive resulting in the publi-

Prior to this, RRPP also completed its 13th, and biggest, shipment of
copper concentrates, which left on September 10, 2009. This copper concen-
trates shipment was also the first delivery bound for India.
To date, RRPP has already delivered a total of 35,756 wmt of zinc
concentrates and 33,344 wmt of copper concentrates since its first shipment
on January 20, 2007.
