Aims:
to read for specific information (scanning)
to keep the correct information
to guess the meaning of the words form the text
to be able to use the new notions
to compare answers with partners and explain choices
to understand the meaning of words or phrases
to be able to give good answers
to know what happens in the lesson
ro be able to answer of the questions related to the lesson
to know the grammar teory
to be able to apply the teory within exercises
to respond at all the questions asked by the teacher
to be able to recognize the righ answer for the questions
to know where to use the grammar notions
to know what fits better in the exercises




Stage Activities Timing
1. Lead-in
The teacher salutes the students and
introduces herself.
2 minutes
2. Comprehension
task
The teacher will write on the blackboard
the title of the lesson.
The students will open their books and give a
look over the lesson.

3 minutes
3. Crisis
presentation
The teacher puts the students to read the
lesson and she explains the unknown words.

5 minutes
4. Production
The teacher puts them questions related
to the text in order to see if they understood the
lesson.
The teacher explains them what they
didnt understand.
5 minutes
5. Practice
The teacher passes to the grammar issues
and gives them the teory of will and going to .
She explains them the uses of both will and
going to and she will give them examples for
each situation. After that she asks them if they
have understood each situation and if not she
explains them again.
To see if they have really understood the
grammar issues she gives them a set of
exercises with will and going to. This exercises
makes them to see where they have to use will
and where going to. But they also have to
explain why they have chosen to use will or
going to.
Another exercise consits in matching the
answers from the second column for those from
the first column. This answers are also formed
20 minutes
with will and going to.

6. Feed-back
The teacher corrects the exercises and
asks them if it is something that they didnt
understand.

7. Homework
The teacher thanks them for listening to
her and asks them if they enjoyed the class/
lesson.
The teacher gives them as homework
another set of exercises where they have also to
use will and going to.
The teacher salutes them.
