2015 Survey of Law Enforcement Personnel in
Schools (CFDA No. 16.734)
Purpose: To conduct a new data collection focused
on the activities, roles, and responsibilities of law en-
forcement agencies and personnel who have respon-
sibilities for interacting with and working in K-12
public schools; tasks will require instrument design,
a feld test of that design, and a data collection that
includes a nationally represented sample of law en-
forcement personnel working in schools.
Eligibility: National, regional, state, or local public
and private entities, including for-proft (commercial)
and nonproft organizations (including tribal nonproft
or for-proft organizations); faith-based and communi-
ty organizations; institutions of higher education (in-
cluding tribal institutions of higher education); Indian
tribal governments; and units of local government that
support initiatives to improve the functioning of the
criminal justice system; for-proft organizations must
agree to forgo any proft or management fee.

Community Connect (CFDA No. 10.863)
Purpose: To provide fnancial assistance in the form
of grants to eligible applicants that will provide cur-
rently un-served areas, on a community-oriented
connectivity basis, with broadband service that fos-
ters economic growth and delivers enhanced educa-
tional, health care, and public safety services.
Eligibility: State, county, city, township, and special
district governments; independent school districts;
private, public, and state controlled institutions of
higher education; public housing authorities/Indian
housing authorities; Native American tribal organiza-
tions; nonprofts; for-proft organizations other than

Community Oriented Policy Services-Community-
Policing-Development-2014 (CFDA No. 16.710)
Purpose: To advance the practice of community
policing in law enforcement agencies through train-
ing and technical assistance, demonstration project,
the development of innovative community policing
strategies, applied research, guidebooks, and best
practices.

Distance Learning (CFDA No. 10.855)
Purpose: To improve and increase quality education-
al and medical services in rural communities through
multimedia interfaces so that video endpoints at dif-

and training courses between rural student(s) and
teacher(s) and facilitate medical care between rural
patient(s) and medical or health specialist(s).

Purpose: To prevent and ameliorate youth violence

Purpose: To fund agencies that utilize a comprehen-

tion and supervision services for youth with sexual
behavior problems and treatment services for their
child victims and families.

Intensive Child-Focused Adoptive Parent Recruit-

Purpose: To test intensive and exhaustive child-fo-
cused adoptive parent recruitment strategies for chil-
dren in foster care, focusing on children/youth that are
the hardest to place from the child welfare system due
to age, disability, or sibling group membership.

Purpose: To represent low-income taxpayers in-
volved in controversies with the Internal Revenue

Purpose: To carry out a coordinated program of
scientifcally based research, demonstration projects,
innovative strategies, and similar activities designed

secondary schools nationwide to meet the special edu-
cational needs of gifted and talented students.

FY 2014 Initiative to Develop and Test Guidelines
for Juvenile Drug Courts (CFDA No. 16.585)
Purpose: To support the creation of research-in-
formed guidelines for juvenile drug courts that will
promote effective practice and quality service deliv-
ery for juveniles with substance abuse disorders that
these courts serve.

Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Fel-

Purpose: To provide opportunities to doctoral can-
didates to engage in full-time dissertation research
abroad in modern foreign languages and area studies
and to contribute to the development and improve-
ment of the study of modern foreign languages and
area studies in the U.S.

Renewable Energy for America Program (CFDA

Purpose: To provide grants to agricultural producers
and rural small businesses to conduct feasibility study
for a renewable energy system as well as to purchase
and install renewable energy systems or make energy
effciency improvements; help agricultural producers
and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and
consumption and help meet the nations critical en-
ergy needs.

Summer Stipends (CFDA No. 45.160)
Purpose: To support individuals pursuing advanced
