Please note that a normal processing of an application takes about 5 weeks from the time the
completed application form and supporting documents are received by SEC. You may find an updated

If you would like to obtain a certification faster (in as fast as 3 working days), you may opt for our
optional processing services which come at extra cost. Please refer to our website for more details

In order for your application to be accepted, please make sure that you meet all the below
requirements and that all the required documents are joined to your application. Please refer to the full
category description and requirements which can be obtained from our website at
http://www.sec.org.sg/greenlabel under criteria and categories (40). Below is a summary of the
documents and requirements that you need to fulfill in order to gain endorsement:
List of required documents for category 40 (adhesives/sealants)
All the following documents are required for processing. Any incomplete application will be
refused which will significantly delay the processing time
All applications which do not strictly meet the below mentioned pass requirements will be
refused
If in doubt SEC reserves the right to ask for additional documents
All tests must be conducted by SINGLAS accredited laboratories or similar accreditation councils
organisations that share mutual understandings of quality and administration with SINGLAS.
