FEATURES

Vertical Drilling-Milling numeric control machine, intended for glass sheet drilling and milling operations.

Mechanical framework constructed using electro-welded steel elements, engineered to ensure maximised
stiffness and vibration-free glass processing operations.



Head positioning (Y axis) via guides, guide shoes and ball screws assembled internally to the uprights,
covered by protective boots to totally prevent contact with water. The brushless motor units implemented for
machine axis management guarantee high positioning speeds with maximised accuracy. Numeric controlled
central lubrication system for the guides and ball screws.



The tooling heads feature a high-speed electric spindle, a closed-circuit liquid cooling system, an air-to-air
heat exchanger, NC inverter for spindle rpm variation (0-12000 rpm), automatic tool release via ISO-40
cones.

NC controlled Z axis for machining level management and for slowdown and penetration depth
management, based on tool type, tool size and glass thickness. Z axis movement via brushless motor plus
guide shoes and ball screws.





NC controlled X axis constituted by closed loop conveyor belts, with precision-ground and cut-proof
sheathing.

Glass conveying/carrier plane driven by a brushless motor arrangement and featuring cut-proof edged

IP64 protection class, tight sealed electric controls cabinet fully compliant with EC regulations and

Tool cooling system via internal water streams with friction-loss controlled rotating seal unit, wear and tear-
free.


ISO-40 tool coupling cone attachments in anti-wear finish stainless steel.



Sanded surface treatments on all steel parts, with subsequent zinc spraying. Final varnishing with water-
resistant polyurethane products. Chrome plating and nickel plating of all mechanical parts, protective
anodising on Anticorodal aluminium parts and on the stainless steel water collection protection casings.

Warranty: Mechanical parts and electrical parts: 12 months or 2000 working
hours, which of the two terms is achieved before. The warranty does
not cover tools and materials which are subjected to normal wear.
