Prepare provisional and non-provisional patent applications and PCT patent applications in the field of
telecommunication and optical fiber and cable technologies.
Prepare and file responses to non-final and final office actions from patent offices around the world.
Lead cross-company IP strategy group with parent company in Japan.
Engage in cross-company, cross-cultural IP-related group activities with parent company in Japan.
Conduct meetings with inventors to discuss patentability of their inventions.
Generate search terms based on invention disclosures and meetings with inventors, and perform
preliminary patent searches to identify relevant prior art.
