INFINITIVE, BARE INFINITIVE, GERUND, CAUSATIVE STRUCTURE, INFINITIVE OF PURPOSE

In English just like in other languages a verb can follow another verb. In English we use three different types for this:
1, TO INFINITIVE: VERB + TO+ VERB
2, BARE INFINITIVE: VERB + VERB
3, GERUND: VERB + VERB + ING
