ECE 11 Microprocessor System 1. The course covers concepts involving microprocessor/
microcontroller systems architecture/organization
including microprocessor/microcontroller
programming, Interfacing techniques, memory systems
and bus standards.
2. In the laboratory the students will be involved with
experiments using microcontrollers and the use of
microprocessor/ microcontroller development systems
and other tools. Experiment topics include: assembly
language programming topics, interfacing with input
and output devices, data transfer between micro
controller-based circuits and the PC via the serial port
and parallel port.
ECE 10 Feedback and Control Systems This course deals with time and frequency response of
feedback control systems. The topics covered include,
time response of first order and second order systems,
modeling, transfer functions, pole-zero map, stability
analysis, root locus, bode plots, compensators, PID
controllers, and introduction to statespace techniques.

project proposal.

Engg 8 Thesis 2 ( Project
Implementation )
A course in which the basic principles of engineering is
utilized in the design, building and testing of electronic
and communication systems. The scope of the project
corresponds to the proposed project in Thesis 1.

Engg 5 Seminars and Field Trips This course deals with Electronics Engineering
technologies through field trips to different companies
and plants and attending relevant seminars.

Rev 2 GEAS This review subject will discuss all General Engineering

semesters. This course will prepare the graduating

This course deals with the basic elements of Economics
analysis of economic institutions, issues and policies the
Law of Supply and Demand. The emphasis on the
development of Philippine Economics. The study of tax
consciousness among students through the study of tax
structured and analysis of the Agrarian Reform program
and its solution to the existing problems.
Soc Sc 2 General Psychology with Drug
Prevention
An introduction course which deals with the scientific and
practical study of human behavior and mental processes.
The course includes drugs and drugs prevention.
Soc Sc 3 Politics and Governance with
Philippine Constitution
This course deals to the definition of terms and
presentation of concepts related to Political Science
Government and Constitution. This is followed by the
historical background of the Philippine Government from
the pre-Spanish period to Contemporary times. The bulk
of the course deals to the presentation and discussion of
the various parts or components of the Philippine
Constitution.
Soc Sci 4 Society and Culture with
Family Planning
This course deals with the scientific concepts, methods
and processes on the existence of a man social animals
needing others for existence. It also studies man not as an
individual but in the context of how he relates with others
in a group, needing other people to survive and vice-
versa.

Hum 1 Art Appreciation This Course aims to provide the learners with the
activities that reinforce, enrich, and strengthen the
knowledge and skills about the humanities and arts.
Included in this course are the understanding, enjoyment
and expressions of feelings and ideas of the different
forms of arts and corresponding mediums used. It also
includes theories and principles of aesthetics and exposes
the learners to some activities essential to the
appreciation of art.
Hum 2 Logic This course aims to make the students form sharp, clear,
and correct ideas; communicate these ideas in effective
language; and translate these ideas into consistent
behavior. Topics include reasoning and the related terms
and concepts to it such as language. Comprehension,
supposition, judgment, proposition, and logical
connectives among others.
Hum 3 Philosophy This course examines Mans search for meaning within
the totality of his Phenomenological experiences, using
various existentialist writings as the point of departure for
personal reflections. The discussion revolves naroun the
triadic structures of his phenomenological experience: his
relationship with himself, with others and with the
Absolute Thou. Also discusses philosophical thoughts.

Engl 1 Study and Thinking Skills in
Engineering
This integral course in English has two-fold objective.
First, it aims to heighten the listening, speaking, reading
and writing skills of college freshman through content or
meaning and through form and function with emphasis in
vocabulary and diction. Second, it equips the student with
proficiency in the use of library for the advancement of
his/her reading comprehension which is mostly needed in
learners academic world.
Engl 2 Writing in the Discipline This course is designed specifically for the freshman
students to develop the reading, listening, speaking,
reading and writing skills. The course in particular deals
with the different components and various mechanisms
to achieve effective writing. The instructional materials
are arranged to attain integration and sequencing of the
language skills using general communication materials.

Engl 3 Technical Communications The nature of technical communication; skills and
strategies for reading and writing literature reviews,
journal articles, and technical reports; making oral
presentations.
Fil 1 Sining ng Pakikipagtalastasan Tatalakayin sa kursong ito ang mga saligang kaalaman sa
Wikang Filipino (batas, tuntunin, proklamasyon, atbp.) at
mga paksang may kinalaman sa kursong pinag-aralan na
nasa anyong artikulo, sanaysay, balita, tudling, anekdota,
salaysay, maikling kuwento, isyu, karanasan at iba pa na
naging lunsaran sa pagtatalakay ng mga pagsasanay
nalilinang sa apat na kasanayan pangwika (pagbasa,
pagunawa, pagsasalita at pagsulat) na ang diin ay nasa
paglilinang na gamitin ang Filipino sa paglalahad,
paglalarawan, pagsasalaysay at pangngatwiran at kasama

Ang kursong ito ay magbibigay pokus sa pagbasa at
pagsulat bilang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto. Ituturo sa
kursong ito ang mga estratehiyang sa pagbasa ng ibat
ibang GENRE ng mga tekstong nakasulat. Lilinangin din
ang mga kasanayan sa pag-unawa, gayundin ang
kasanayan sa pagsulat sa ibat ibang sulating akademik,
lipunan, agham at teknolohiya.

Ang pag-aaral ng kursong Rizal ay sumasaklaw sa

PE 1 Physical Fitness, Gymnastics,
and Body Mechanics
It deals on the concepts of Physical Education.
Gymnastics, fitness and health. Included too, are the
wellness, physical fitness and its components, the body
and body mechanics, movement skills and related
activities geared towards the attainment of the objectives
of Physical Education and wellness. It further measures
the components of physical fitness through enjoyable and
vigorous activities hence achieve a lifetime physical active
life.
PE 2 Fundamentals of Rhythmic
Activities
It deals with emphasis on enjoyable participation in
physical activity and help students develop knowledge,
attitudes, behavioral skills and confidence needed to
adopt and maintain physical active lifestyle. It also
underscore students acquiring a solid foundation of
movement concepts and motor skills which include
recreational activity then upon entering adulthood, they
will continue to enjoy being physically active and will
derive all the benefits physical, emotional and social that
come to those who have been physically active
throughout their lifetime.
PE 3 Individual and Dual Sports It focuses on the history and nature of activity, equipment

PE 4 Games and Team Sports It deals with emphasis on enjoyable participation in
physical activity and help students develop knowledge,
attitudes, behavioral skills and confidence needed to

movement concepts and motor skills which include
recreational activity and will derived all the benefits
physical, emotional and social that come to those who
have been physically active throughout their lifetime.
