Health- Health is a state of complete Mental, Physical, social and spiritual wellbeing, but not mere

absence of a disease.
Wealth- The accumulation of movable and immovable properties that also grows in terms of its value.
OR Its just health is our greatest invaluable wealth
Food- Food is what we eat when we are hungry and also when we are not hungry.
Nutrition- The most valuable factor in our food.
Optimum Nutrition- A balanced mixture of nutrients like proteins, vitamins, carbs, minerals and most
importantly water. Note:- Water is a universal solvent and hence considered as an important factor.

Physical body
Its a mechanical process. The body needs a fuel to run and one such fuel is food. A healthy food
constitutes a balanced proportion of nutrients like protein, vitamin etc. Intake of such a food on a daily
basis is called balanced diet. Our body needs Optimum Nutrition. The secret behind a healthy body lies
in the quality and quantity of the food we consume daily. A well maintained balanced diet is directly

The Mind
Mind is the master of physical body. Thought is an important aspect of mind. Its all about how we
perceive things. A healthy body is directly related to a healthy mind. i.e., if a person wishes to be
healthy, one has to clean up the mind first. The food which we consume has a direct effect on our
thoughts. Lets consider todays daily breakfast. A person having excess of carbs, oil, spice, salt in his
breakfast usually feels less active, dozes off at regular intervals, tend to gain more weight etc.
This is because, all the above mentioned are not preferred for a ideal breakfast and for the efficiency in
work. On the other hand, a person having breakfast that contains less of all that and more of nutrients
like protein, vitamins and ample quantity of water feels more active and efficient throughout the day. A
healthy mind contributes for the social well-being compared to other two. Food also plays an important

The Soul
Spiritually speaking, the subtle body contains many impurities such as anger, lust, jealousy etc. Our food
also plays an important role. The type of food we consume reflects in those impurities. To clean those
impurities & to overcome the same is the real challenge. A healthy soul depends on the space inside
oneself. Ultimately this is what every human desires for.
Certainty of being healthy with all there factors is pretty uncertain., because of the present lifestyle,
environment & our system of education.
Conclusion:- Every human must give space for themselves to live a healthy life physically, mentally,
socially and spiritually.

Diabetes
It is a degenerated chronic disease caused due to deficiency in pancreas.
There are two kinds of diabetes, Diabetic Mellitus(DM) and Diabetes Insipidus(DI).
1. DM (increase in sugar level) It exists mainly due to insufficient insulin production in the pancreas
OR due to inefficiency of the cells to respond to the insulin that is produced.
Note:- Insulin helps as a medium to transfer sugar in blood to the cells.
Here are some main factors from which DM exits

Note:- Heredity factors in a range between 30% - 50%
Now, lets discuss the popular types of DM. There are 3 types in general, viz.,
a) Type 1 DM (IDDM-Insulin dependent DM)
b) Type 2 DM (Non-insulin dependent DM)
c) Gestational DM (Occurs during pregnancy)

Type 1 DM - It occurs when the body fail to produce insulin. It demands an insulin externally
through injection or trough am insulin pump. Thus referred to as IIDM.

Type 2 DM - It occurs when our cells fail to use insulin properly. Resulting with an absolute insulin
deficiency. Thus referred to as NIDDM. It occurs mainly from our lifestyle.

Gestational DM It occurs when pregnant woman without a previous diagnosis of diabetes develop
a high blood glucose level. It may precede development of type 2 DM.
Other types of DM include congenital diabetes due to defects of insulin secretion by genes and
steroid diabetes caused by high dosage drugs.
Symptoms of DM :- Loss of weight, frequent urination, increased thirst & increased hunger.

2. DI (Excess thirst & diluted urine) It exits mainly due to reduction of fluid intake having no effect on
the concentration of the urine.
Note:- The effect of DI in the general population is three in a million.
Symptoms of DI :- Excessive urination and extreme thirst.

Note:- High sugar in blood (hyperglycemia) is less dangerous than low sugar in blood
(hypoglycemia).

3 critical solutions
1) Food regulation This is one of the most important factor to solve diabetes. Proper protein
consumption in our food helps in curbing diabetes. As discussed in earlier post i.e., physical
body in general health category optimum nutrition helps us in maintaining good health.
2) Exercise Another critical factor is fitness. Even a healthy human have to workout at least 20
30 minutes daily (preferably in the morning) to stay fit. Exercises helps in removing excess salt
through sweat and also burning calories(an energy gauge). It also helps us to appear young (for

3) Monitoring Monitoring ones health is the most easiest solutions of all. Here, a person has to
keep track of his health and have a check on a regular basis. This helps you in building a positive
energy. Its again a mind aspect of health. A Positive mind-set helps in maintaining good-health.
