A Message From Your Senator
Friend,
I am honored to represent you in the Florida Senate. It is part of my mission to provide you
with information about what we are doing in the Florida Senate and state government and
about where your hard-earned tax dollars are going. Having an accessible and transparent
government is at the core of our nations principles.
Through pragmatic, scally responsible policies, we were able to cut wasteful spending
while increasing funding for important and benecial programs like education and tourism
to achieve a budget surplus and pay off state debt. Our states economy is expanding and
is projected to continue expanding. We passed legislation that will help make Florida
the best place to live, raise a family, start or grow a business, and get an education. This
includes a tax cut package of $500 million aimed at providing relief to Florida citizens.
I was born in Palm Beach County and have lived in this area my entire life. My family and
I are proud to call the Treasure Coast home. I understand and share the concerns and
values of our community. This is why I am committed to ghting for what is important
to us in Tallahassee, including preserving and repairing our natural spaces, supporting
our troops and veterans, cutting taxes and unnecessary burdensome regulations, and
improving education.
Thank you for allowing me to serve as your Senator. Hearing the concerns and ideas of my
constituents and neighbors is very important to me. I would love to hear from you. Please
feel free to contact me.
State Senator Joe Negron, District 32

Improving Education for Our Children and Grandchildren
Floridas Budget
I believe that our families, businesses,
and individuals should be able to keep
more of what they earn and should be
able to choose how to spend their money.
In addition, lower taxes attract more
businesses and jobs. Private investment
is what spurs economic growth, not
government spending. For this reason, I
have been committed to protecting your
tax dollars and lowering your taxes.
The Treasure Coast is blessed with an abundance of natural beauty. It
is important that we protect our natural spaces so that they continue
to attract tourists who support our districts economy and so that our
children can enjoy them as well. I led the ght to protect and repair
our communitys natural gems.
I am deeply appreciative of the sacrices that our courageous military
members and military families make so that we can sleep safely at night. It
is imperative that when our troops return from their service, we are able
to provide them with the care and services that they need. We passed the
Florida GI Bill to support our troops, military families, and veterans.
Education is the platform for economic advancement, and we are committed to
ensuring that every Floridian has access to a high-quality, affordable education.
We supported several reforms to improve quality of education for Floridas
students and to train them with the skills they need to succeed in our modern
economy and to be Floridas future innovators and leaders.
