Moenkopi Wastewater Treatment Plant

I learn that it takes 3 or 6

hours to nish cycle.
That they get the poop out
of the water.
I learned that all the waste
water goes to the
Moenkopi waste water
treatment plant.
The height to the water
tank is 20 feet height.
How poop and water is
used to recycle water to
use for farms and roads.

This place decompose

our waste, to prevent
the waste going into the
ground where the
ground water is.
TO keep the place from
geJng dirty and to keep
the feces from going into
the ground and from us
geJng diseases.
It keeps the poop stored.
It cleans the poop into
water.
All of the stu that used
in the restroom to ush
goes here.

What I liked about the eld trip

was to see where all our waste
goes.
I didnt like anything about the
eld trip because it stunk and we
even looked at poop.
It was fun BUT it smelled bad
there.
The eld trip was fun to go but it
stunk!
That they clean out the poop and
use bugs to eat it.
How they could take all the water
from our urine.
I like the part where they did the
tesTng on the waste.

When the stages are

performed it also helps to
clean the water.
They give water to plants or
clean the reads with it and to
keep a essence of life.
By separaTng the poop and
pee from each other.
Taking care of toilet water.
It cleans our poop.
This place cleans our poop so
we will have a beUer place
for poop.
So we know where are poop
goes.
