INTRODUCTION
This manual contains instructions for teachers to conduct the oral assessment during
the teaching and learning process. It also contains some suggested activities for
assessment. It also shows how ULB can !e conducted at different phases of a lesson.
Two sample lesson plans which incorporate ULB assessment are included as a guide for
teachers.

activities for assessment and the corresponding models where ULB can !e carried out
are included.
1. In consultation with the teacher0 students who have !een identified for ULB
assessment will do the presentation.
