Bandung, December 31

st
, 2013

First of all, we would like to thank for your participation in Indonesia Chemical
Engineering Challenge 2014. This year, we successfully engage more participants than
previous chapters of IChEC that reach 82 teams, 53 teams for Plant Design Competition
and 29 teams for Problem Solving Competition, coming from Southeast Asia Region and
beyond.
There will be 41 teams of Plant Design Competition and 25 teams of Problem
Solving Competition that pass the first selection phase and be rightful to continue to the
next stage. We ensure that the abstract selection is conducted through fair and clear
selection process by competition division that supervised by relevant lecturers. The
assessment refers to the criteria mentioned in the guide book that should be described
in the abstract. The incompleteness and unclearness can lead to failure of passing the
first stage.
Finally, for the teams stated here, we would like to congratulate for successfully
passing the 1st selection phase!
