Is this the hub of BT's internet problems?

Ridiculous Britain is at it again and this time it's BT!


Firstly, what do we think BT stands for? Choose from British Telecom, Bad Traders or Big Tits? I'll
let you decide here's today's story from that !it on the nose of the uni"erse the great British
Isles#
In sim$ly terms my %&' a month all singing all dancing, all downloading and u$loading, all telly
watching unlimited info internet $ackage doesn't do work "ery well that's it in a nu( )or a hu(*, so
+ days ago we called BT to get it sorted out,,,
This is what ha$$ened#
The first call centre we contacted in -elhi a$ologised for our $ro(lems and checked to see what
had gone wrong, They ran tests on the line and came (ack saying our down load s$eed was at its
ma.imum, so was our '$ing' and our u$load s$eed at /,00 was more than acce$ta(le, That was it!
1o( done as far as they were concerned and asked if there was anything more they could hel$ us
with,
2e said 'yes' our internet is ru((ish and would they kindly get it sorted out, 3f course they re$lied
that they were "ery sorry for our $ro(lems (ut in reality our internet was working $erfectly, 2e
went away to see if it was 4ust a glitch,
5nyway, for the ne.t three days we $honed them and re$eated our com$laint that the internet was
so slow it was im$ossi(le to use and most of the time we sim$ly sat there watching the little green
circle well circling, 6ach time they a$ologised, ran a test and told us we didn't ha"e a $ro(lem,
Finally, it clicked, our hu( is a hu(7 and a(out si. years old, could that (e the $ro(lem?
BT in Calcutta this time told us we weren't eligi(le for a new hu( for another three weeks when our
contract ran out and that we would ha"e to wait until then anyway, there was nothing wrong
with our internet connection (ecause the download, $ing and u$load s$eeds were $erfect,
5fter fi"e hours of $hone calls I finally decided to $hone their $ress office on (ehalf of our radio
shows which go out on RTI,fm, Bree!e, TalkRadio.,fm, 8iss F9 etc etc and guess what within an
hour we had it confirmed that our there was something wrong and that it was $ro(a(ly the hu( and
that a new state:of:the:art hu( had (een dis$atched to us, 3"er the ne.t two days we recei"ed a total
of eight $hone calls from different mem(ers of BT staff, including some at chairman ;ir 9ichael
Rake's office, assuring us that they were going to make sure e"erything was sorted out for us,
5ll well and good! But you know what (others me is the fact that when Big Tits thought 5ndrea
and I were 4ust your a"erage customer they continued to deny us a new hu( and tell us we didn't
ha"e a $ro(lem (ut once they knew we were $art of the great unwashed British media they
sorted it out immediately, <ow shameful,
BT can I say one thing your =I>? really =3>?;!
