Background
Hemant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham college of Mumbai University, Maharashtra. He has been in the
financial services and capital markets industry since past 2 decades advising HNI clients on investing and trading in equities and
other asset classes.


Professional Activity
He is the currently the Founder of ZEST Capital (www.zestcapital.co.in) which is in training and advisory of capital market. He
had a professional stint as a full time Director of MAIA Financial Services Pvt. Ltd. (A SEBI registered Portfolio Management
Company) and prior to MAIA he has a decade and half experience of strategizing investments for HNIs based on tactical asset
allocation.


Author
He is the co-author of Time your trades with Technical Analysis which is the first comprehensive Indian book ever written on
technical analysis projecting the Indian scenario. It was published in Nov 2007. His second book as a co-author titled The magic
and logic of Elliott waves was released in Sep 2009. It is also the first book written by any Indian authors on Elliott wave theory
which helps in analyzing market structure.

Mentor
He has shared valuable knowledge on Technical Analysis at J. P. Morgan, Dun and Bradstreet, Multi Commodity Exchange, Reliance
Money, ICICI Bank, Kotak MF, LIC of India, FT-KMC, Asia Trader and Investor Convention (Singapore) etc. He has mentored at various
management colleges like Xavier Institute of Management, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi; Indian Institute of Capital
Markets (IICM), Vashi; ITM Institute of Financial Markets, Vashi, Gitam University, Vizag and many more. He has also addressed
various investor awareness programs organised by investor organisations and has acted as a traders coach for hundreds of traders.

The mentoring has happened on Beginners Programs on Equity Markets, Tactical Asset Allocation, Trading Psychology, Foundation
program in Technical Analysis, Advanced Trading Strategies with Technical Analysis & Elliott Waves.

He is a regular guest speaker on NDTV Profit for the past 2 years and has done more than 100 shows. He has also appeared on
business channels such as ET-NOW & Zee Business as a Market Expert and done several shows. He has been quoted in Times of
India, Economic Times and he frequently writes for Informed Investor a weekly news line for equity investors.

Honorary Activity
He is the elected Hon. Joint Secretary of the Bombay Shareholders Association- A SEBI recognized Investor Association.
