(1) metal seat; (2) polymer seat;
and (3) metal seal. These seats are
in contact with the closed disc
before, during and after the fire to

DynaSeal 370 CT Deep Pocket Seat
The W-K-M DynaSeal 370 CT features a three-
piece recessed seat assembly. A seat pocket
encapsulates the seat assembly and a metal shoul-
der protects the seat from cold flow. An O-ring
energizes the seat face against the ball to ensure
ball/seat contact at all pressures.
In the event that the seat assembly is damaged
or destroyed, the metal shoulder acts as a sec-
ondary metal-to-metal seal until maintenance can
be performed.

The W-K-M DynaSeal 310 utilizes a
single-piece seat. Like the 370 CT, the 310
seat design is also recessed into the valve
body and protected by a metal shoulder from
cold flow. The metal shoulder also acts as a
secondary metal-to-metal seal should the
seats be destroyed by fire.
The DynaSeal 310 floating ball is free to
float and mates perfectly with the conical
seats for a positive seal. It is pressure activat-
ed the higher the line pressure, the tighter
the seal.

Diaphragm Actuator
The actuator-valve assembly is normally supplied for
fail-safe closed operation. The valve is opened by
actuator input pressure against the piston/diaphragm
which drives the valve stem and reverse-ported gate
down into the open position (left).

ator pressure is bled off by quick bleed pilots,
allowing the valve to
