ENGINE
1. TractorsmustuseOEMengineblockoritsfactoryreplacementaslistedbythemanufacture.Theengineblock
cannotbemodifiedexternallyinanywayexceptfornormalrepairorforthemountingoffuelinjectionpumps.
Internalwebbingandwaterjackettoremainintactwithprovisionstoreboreengineblockbeprovided.Valves
cannotseatbelowbottomofhead.
2. Enginesmustbestockappearingwiththeexceptionofexhaustandfuelsystemsunderthehood.Nooverhead
cams.NoaftermarketAluminumorHemistyleheadsallowed.Maximumof2valvespercylinder.
3. Maximumlimitof470cubicinches(dieselengines).Singleturbo3.6inletmax.Note:DeanLindeman(Caged
WeaselJohnDeere)grandfatheredintoclassusingabovelimitationswithprovisionstoadhereto470cubicinch
rulewithin3years(2014isthelastyearDeanLindeman,CagedWeaselJohnDeere,isgrandfatheredinusing510
cubicinchesand3x3smallfootprintturbo).
4. Maximumlimitof370cubicinches(alcoholengines).Singleturbo3.6inletmax.
5. Dieselenginesunder315cubicinchesmayruntwocompressorstages,eachat3inlet.Enginesmayrunan
intercooler.Enginesabove315CImayonlyrunoneturbocharger.

8. Allsingleturbodieselsandalcoholtractorsunder310cubicinchescanutilizeturboswithMAFenhancement
9. Turbochargerlegalmeasurementwillbedeterminedusingthefollowingguidelines.Theintakecompressorhousing
willbenolargerthan3.0inchesindiametermeasuredatthefrontfaceofthewheel.Turbinewheelmustprotrude
atleast1/8intothehousing.Exhausthousingwillbenolargerthan4.0inchesindiameter.Nostepdownintakeor
exhausthousings.Nosecondarysourceofintakeairorslotsofanykindallowed.Housingslotsmustbepermanently
disabledbybeingweldedshut.Notemporaryinsertsorslugsallowed.
10. Nopressurizedfueladditivesallowedinadditiontotheprimaryfuelsystem(fuelpump).Therewillbenofueltanks
pressurizedunderanyconditions(exceptLPgaswhenusedasaprimaryfuel).
11. OnlyGasoline,Diesel,Alcohol,andLPgasmaybeusedfortheproductionofpower.NitrousOxideandorNitro
Methanemixesarenotallowedinanyform.
12. Electricormechanicalfuelpumps,andaftermarketdistributorsandignitionsmaybeused.Automotivecarburetors
upto1150CFMallowed.AftermarketDieselandAlcoholinjectionpumpsallowed.Onlyoneplungerpercylinder
allowed.Nofuelinjectionpumplargerthana6cylinderpseriespumpallowed.
13. Waterinjectionisallowed.Water&solubleoilmixonly,noalcoholadditives.
14. Exhaustmustdischargevertically.Two3/8diameterboltspositioned90degreestoeachotherandamaximumof
1aparthorizontallyintheexhaustoutlet.Noraincapsorcurvedoutletonpipes.
15. A1%tolerancewillbegivenoncubicinchlimitationstoallowfornormalenginewear.

CHASSIS
1. Tractorsmustmaintainstockappearanceformake/model,exceptwhererulesallow.NoComponenttractors
allowed.Enginemustbelocatedinstockpositionwithamaximumof1thickadapterplateallowed.Thetractor
chassisandframemustremainstockfromtherearoftheengineblocktotherearofthetractor.Theclutchhousing,
transmissioncase,rearendhousingandaxlehousingmustbeOEM.Noaluminumreplacementpartsallowedfor
thesecomponents.Aluminumtopplateandaccesscoversareallowed.
2. SheetmetalmaybeupgradedwithExecutiveBoardapproval.Upgradecannotcrossmanufacturelines.Forexample
IHCtoCaseIHisok.CasetoJohnDeereisnot.Note:Sheetmetalupgradesdonotautomaticallyallowforengine
manufactureupgradeswithregardtosuccessivecompanymergers,seeCHASSISrule#4.

3. Maximumof114wheelbase,unlessoriginallyproducedwithlongerwheelbase,thenmustremainstocklength.The
maximumlengthoftractoris13feetfromthecenteroftherearaxletotheforwardmostposition(excludingtow
hook).Wheelbaserulewillapplyaccordingtothemodeloftheupgradedsheetmetal.
4. Chassis/Enginerulewillapplytotheoriginalchassis,nottothemodeloftheupgradedsheetmetal.
5. Tractorsmustbeequippedwithawidefrontend.Homemadefrontendswillbeallowedprovidedthatstrengthand
minimumwidthrequirementismet.Outsideedgeoffronttiremusttrackoninsideofthereartire.
6. Hitchmusthaveatleastathree3by3.75inchdiameteropeningandcannotbemorethan1incheswideathitch
pointandnotmorethan1inchesthick.Tractordrawbarsaretobe20fromthetopofthehitchdevicetothe
ground.Theminimumdrawbarlengthis18fromthecenteroftherearwheeltothepointofthehook.
7. Weightsmustnotexceedrearwardbeyondverticallineformedbythebackedgeoftire.
8. Agstyletiresupto30.5x32insize,withanycutstylewillbeallowed.

SAFETYEQUIPMENTREQUIREMENTS
1. Tractorcanweighupto6500#butmusthave300#movableweight.
2. TractormustbeequippedwithaBilletFlywheel.AbsolutelyNOcastorgrayironflywheelscanbeused.Allclutch
componentsmustbeSFIrated.
3. TractormusthaveanNTPAapprovedbellhousing/transmissionSafetyBlanket.
4. Tractorwillbeequippedwitha5pointharnessandhaveanapprovedRollCagewithminimumof2Barsusingat
least.120thicktubingandorchromemolytubingmin.095wall.
5. WheelieBarsaremandatory.Padsmustextendaminimumof1beyondtheverticallineformedbythebackedge
ofthetireandcannotbemorethan10offoftheground.Barsmustsupporttheweightofthetractorwhenajack
isplacedundereachindividualpad.Inadditiontowheeliebarsthetractormustalsohavebumpbarsthatextend
vertically12fromtherearmosttipofeachskidpad.Bumpbarsmusthaveasupportbraceextendinginwardtothe
frame,axleormainstabilizerstructure.
6. Electriccoolingfansonly,nosteelfanblades.TractorswillhaveSideShieldsof.060metal(min.)Turbochargers
mustbeunderthehoodorwillbecompletelyshroudedbynotlessthan1/16thicksteeloraluminum,exceptfor
theinletandexhaustpipes.Allturbochargersunderfiberglasshoodsmustbeshrouded.
7. Enginesmusthavea3/8safetycableinstalledaroundheadandengineblock.Cablewillpassbetweennumber1&
2cylinderandmustbesecuredby2cableclampsallowing46slack.
8. Tractormusthaveasafetystartingdevicesothatthetractorisonlyabletostartwhileinneutralorpark.
9. Tractormusthavefenderscapableofholdingthedriversweightoffofthetire.
10. MusthaveaworkingKillSwitch/BreakawayMechanismsecurelyfastenedtotherearofthetractor.GastractorsKill
Switchmustgroundtothespark,Dieselsmustshutdowntheairattheintakesource.
11. Adeadmanthrottleisrequired.Sparkignitionenginesmustutilizeareturnspringonthebutterflyshaft.Diesel
enginesmustutilizeareturnspringonthefuelinjectionpump,speedcontrollever.Returnspringsmustfunctionin
amannerthatiftheoperatorscontrolcableorlinkagefailsorbecomesunhooked,positivereturntolowidlewill
occur.
12. Tractorsmusthavea3wayshutoffvalveonthefueltank,Batterydisconnectswitch,andaminimumof2.5#Fire
Extinguisher.Allmustbeaccessibleandinworkingorder.
13. Tractormustbeequippedwithawhite(clear)transmissionreverselightmountedontherearindicatinganytimethe
transmissionisshiftedintoreverse.
14. DrivermustwearaDOTapprovedhelmet.AminimumofSFI32A/1firesuitincludingglovesandheadsockandSFI
3.3/5drivingshoes.
15. Tiebarslinkingrearendoftractortofrontframemustbepresent.Tiebarsshallbestrongenoughtoholdtractor
upwithallbellhousingboltsremoved.
16. TRANSMISSIONS:Transmissions(manualandautomatics)musthaveatransmissionblanket/bellhousingmeeting
SFI4.1.
17. KILLSWITCH:Truckmustbeequippedwithanignitionkillswitchthathasa2inchweldedringtoattachtothesled
attherearofthetruck.
