She's a blessing to me even though only a few people knows about it.

I usually
visited her occasionally in her humble home at Escao Beach, that were named
after her late husband Dodong Escao. I never thought that her influence will
impact me with humility. I can never tell how bless she was in her peaceful
condition, even though once I asked her when she was diagnose by a doctor, "How's
the result?" She just simply smiled to me and said, "everything is perfect and
there's no sign of any diseases, my blood pressure and heart beats are all normal.
She just died in her good old age.

I can reflect only to the Ten Commandments of God in Exodus 20 the fifth
commandment says in verse12, "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may
live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you." This is the only
commandment with a promise and I believed that she was also obedient to her
parents inspite of their strict Spanish type of discipline. The Lord bless her
with a good old age of 93 years old and still active in any public and social
academic affairs most especially to give hands to charity and other religious act.

I was just so bless to see her lying in her bed before the Lord took her away
within that week. I was visiting her and comfort her with some words in my Bible,
while I'm reading about the resurection of the Saints and The Lord Second Coming,
I was unaware that her weak hand are trying to touch my other hand while reading
the text. I just found out that she's trying to hold me after I leave from my last
visit. The Scripture that comfort her is qouted below.

1 Thessalonians 4

The Coming of the Lord

13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to
grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and
rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen
asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are
still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede
those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven,
with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of
God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive
and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord
in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each
other with these words.

Romans 10

5Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who
does these things will live by them." 6But the righteousness that is by faith
says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to
bring Christ down) 7"or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring
Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in
your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart
that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and
are saved. 11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to
shame." 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentilethe same Lord is Lord
of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the
name of the Lord will be saved."

I grieve, but because of Christ I never grieve without hope. ;)
