Transform Residential Limited currently offers residential support for students who attend
Freeman College, Glasshouse College, Ruskin Mill College and Plas Dwbl Farm College which
are independent specialist further education colleges operated by Ruskin Mill Trust, providing
Practical Skill Therapeutic Education for young people aged 16 to 25 years who have a range of
learning dificulties, including autistic spectrum disorders and behaviours that challenge.
We are seeking people to become self employed Shared lives Providers for some of our
students. It can be a rich and rewarding experience for both the students and yourself. There
are generous allowances, training and support. Placements are normally for during term time
and students can be with a Shared Lives Provider for up to 3 years, in addition short spells of
respite care, weekends or possibly other arrangements can be considered depending on the
needs of the College.
As a Shared Lives Provider you would:
Offer support, supervision and guidance to up to three of our young people in everyday
tasks (cooking, doing the laundry, cleaning his/her room and shared space, budgeting
and shopping)
Encouraging attending cultural activities either within Ruskin Mill Trust or the wider
community with the students including going to galleries, cinema, bowling, walking,
meals out etc.)
Share your life and take an interest in the students life as appropriate
Ensure the welfare, and support the development, of the student in many aspects
If you live near one of the Ruskin Mill Trust Colleges which are based in Shefield, Stourbridge in
the West Midlands, Nailsworth in Gloucestershire and Clynderwen in Pembrokeshire and you

16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from
proceeding along those sections of public footpath at Llys-y-fran as set out below:-
Footpath 98/19 which runs from its junction with footpath 98/11 for a distance of 190
metres in a north-easterly direction to the Afon Syfynwy.
Footpath 58/15 which runs from the car park entrance gate for a distance of 180
metres in a south westerly and north westerly direction.
Footpath 58/16 which runs from the Afon Syfynwy for a distance of 620 metres to the
junction with footpath 58/15.
The restrictions are necessary so that the annual Motor Club Hill Climb Event can take place on
Sunday 20

Alternative routes for pedestrians will be provided for the duration of the restrictions.
