b) Write a letter to the President, Resident Welfare Association of your locality suggesting some measures that
could be taken for solving the problem of monkeys who have started coming in large groups on daily basis
and creating a menace..
c) Write a letter to the Editor of a newspaper expressing your views on the deteriorating level of respect for
elders that one can witness not only in homes but also on roads, in buses and metro.

FASHION STUDIES
ACTIVITY: 1
1. Identify any one Indian and one International Designer who has both a main label and a prt label.
2. Collect pictures from Fashion Magazines/ Internet of the designs under the respective labels.
3. Paste them on an A3 sheet. Write about 10 points of difference between the main label and Pret Label.

* Activity:
Take 100 ml milk in 4 bowls A, B, C and D. Bring the temperature to 37 degree C in bowls A and B and boil milk
to 100 degree C in bowls C and D. Now put half teaspoonful of curd in bowls A, B and C and no curd should be
added to D. Cover and keep them aside at room temp for about 4 hours. Record your observation for formation of
curd in all the bowls. Why was curd not formed in bowl C? Also observe the formation of whey after 2 hours in the
bowls. Write the importance of whey. (Use A4 sheets and compile the result in a folder)

1. Prepare a project and project report on any one of topics given in your lab manual in demonstration experiment.
