Brother Joe paces around the living room while Atiya and Raymond are sleeping on a mattress

located on the floor. The Concept Woman is sitting in a chair watching Brother Joe pondering.
Brother Joe says,
How many hours do you think we have?
Concept Woman says, I calculated approximately eight hours and ten minutes.
Brother Joe pauses in his tracks only to mindlessly stare at the Concept Woman. He says,
You really need to work on this being Human thing. That was more of a rhetorical question than
literal.
Concept Woman slightly tilts her head in confusion then utters in a puzzled tone, I believe I am
currently experiencing bewilderment feelings.
Brother Joe slightly smiles as he stares at her. Concept Woman says,
Are you smiling, Fallen One?
Brother Joe instantly reverts his face back to an emotionless expression. He replies, No.
Concept Woman says, What happened to you? You use to smile in the Kingdom all the time.
You had such a radiant smile, Fallen One.
Brother Joe says, Are you currently experiencing nostalgia? Hm.
Concept Woman lowers her stare to the floor wearing an expression of confusion and she then
says, Good point. Is this the true feeling of nostalgia? I can see our past moments together in the
Kingdom. This seems as if I am experiencing infatua.
Brother Joe says, Listen, you will learn and understand what it is to be Human very quickly.
The key to Humanity is their emotions; dont suppress them like me, sister. Live for your
emotions.
Concept Woman stands from her seat and slowly steps toward Brother Joe. Brother Joe is slowly
backing away from her while wearing a timid facial expression. Brother Joe says,
What are you doing?
Concept Woman says, I believe I am allowing my emotions to lead my body.
Brother Joes back is against a wall as the Concept Woman slowly approaches him and then
slowly touches his face. Brother Joes bottom lip quivers in awe as the Concept Woman stares in
amazement of her finger tips touching a mans face. Concept Woman says,
Fascinating, a simple touch between Humans is truly magnetic. I can feel my fine hairs standing
at attention.
Brother Joes voice cracks with nervousness while saying, Wh-What are you doing?
The Concept Woman breaks her stare from her hand touching his face and snaps her head
forward, looking Brother Joe into his crystal blue eyes. Concept Woman says,
Touching you, Fallen One. When was the last time you were graced with a womans touch?
Brother Joe slowly closes his eyes as hes uttering, Too long, my dear sister.
KA-BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
Brother Joe, Concept Woman, Atiya, and Raymonds bodies fly from the abrupt explosion.
Raymond goes through the window to the cannibal filled street below. Brother Joe is impaled by
shards of wood as hes protecting the Concept Woman from the debris. Fritz storms into the
apartment, through the obliterated doorway towards Brother Joe and kicks him in his face. Fritz
screams,
Fuck you! I told ya I was comin for ya, bastard!
Fritz begins to beat Brother Joes face with the butt of his M-16. Blood is splattering all over the
white walls next to the two beings. The other Resurrection Men are grabbing Atiya and the
Concept Woman. Both women are groggy from the explosion. Fritz screams while beating on
Brother Joe,
Get up! Cmon! Fight me! Cmon! Hit me back!
One of the soldiers utters to Fritz, Um, sir? Sir?!
Fritz turns to the soldier wearing a savage facial expression, he yells, What?!
Soldier says, Where is the other guy?
Fritz franticly looks around the room and then screams, FUCK!!!! Fuckin find him! Find him
now!!!!
Two soldiers race out of the apartment down the stairs. Fritz pulls a bloodied face Brother Joe
close to him and whispers into his right ear,
I begged to Joe not to kill ya jus yet. Ima gonna fuck ya and then torture ya until ya beg fo
death.
Yo, fuck boy!
Raymond throws an Infected Human onto Fritz while Brother Joe leg sweeps Fritz causing him
to fall to the floor. The Infected Human falls on top of Fritz and then begins to eat at the fingers
on his left hand as Fritz shoots at it with his right. Fritz is screaming,
Mother fucker! Get off of me!
Behind Raymond are more Infected Humans running up the stairs to the Resurrection Men.
Raymond screams, Joe, grab the lady and I got Atiya!
Brother Joe kicks the soldier off of the Concept Woman while Raymond forcefully punches the
other solider holding Atiya in his kidney. Infected Humans quickly fill the room feasting on the
Resurrection Men. Fritz is still shooting one off of him but the steaming slugs dont affect the
Infected Human. The bloody cannibal is now chewing at Fritzs shoulder. Raymond is carrying a
dazed Atiya in his arms and a bloody Brother Joe has the Concept Woman. An infected horde is
racing towards the four as the mens back are to the windows. Raymond turns to Brother Joe and
screams,
Jump!
Both men fall out of the second floor windows, back first, breaking the ladies fall. Infected
Humans instantly surround them on impact with the sidewalk. Raymond is kicking and fighting
his way out while Atiya is screaming in horror. Brother Joe is fighting his way out while still
holding onto the Concept Woman.
Daaaaaaaaaadaaaaaaaaaaadaaaaaaa!
Fritz is wildly shooting from the window above with his left arm missing. Hes screaming,
Ima gonna ta kill yous!
Brother Joe screams, Run!
The savage cannibals are dazed from the rapid gunfire from above. Bloody, mingled hands are
pulling Fritz back into the apartment window while hes still shooting. The four quickly races
into a nearby dark alleyway. All are panting from the chaos. The Concept Woman falls to the
ground as shes heavily sweating. She utters to the gang,
I dont feel too good.
As shes sitting on the ground, she reveals her right forearm where there is a chunk of flesh
missing, showing her bloody bone and arteries. Blood is racing down the white sleeve of her
button-up collared shirt. The three stands over the Concept Womans wound and Raymond says,
Fuck us.
While the Concept Woman slips in and out of consciousness, she utters,
Is that good or bad? I could never understand Raymonds tone with his slanged grammar.
Atiya says, This is very bad.
The Concept Woman says, So, this is bad? I dont feel like Im healing from his injury. Holy
Father, being a Human is such an overrated experience.
Brother Joe says, Who are you telling, my dear sister?
Raymond says, Fuck.
Concept Woman says, So fuck is not good?
Brother Joe, Atiya, and Raymond simultaneously yell, YES!
Concept Woman says, Oh. I think I am experiencing drowsiness, guys. I am going to close my
eyes for a sec.
Raymond says, Her goin to sleep aint good, right?
Brother Joe and Atiya yell, NO!
Raymond says, Shit! I just was askin. Dont shoot a nigga for wantin to kno.
