GRAMMAR: THEREIS/ THERE ARE. ANY/SOME.
There is..Singular There arePlural
For asking questions the verb BE is at the beginning:
Is there any? Are there any?
ANY/SOME are determiners used before uncountable and plural nouns. Before another
determiner or a pronoun you must use some of/any of.
In English it is usual to use some in affirmative clauses and any in questions and
negations. Ex:
Do you have any aspirins?....Yes, I have some aspirins.
I need some medicine.
And we use some in questions if we expect or want people to answer yes. For
example, in offers and requests.
Ex: Do you want some ice cream?
Do you have some money that I can borrow?
We use any after words that have a negative meaning: for example: never, hardly,
without.
Ex: you never give me any help.
We got there without any trouble.
Theres hardly any tea left.
We use any/some when we are talking about small quantities. Or in uncertain,
indefinite numbers.
Ex: Do you have any animals?
Would you like some more ice cream?

DAYS OF THE WEEK.

In ancient Greece, each day of the week was to honor a certain god. Romans took over the
custom, but used the names of their own gods. In English some of the names were replaced
by the names of nordic gods
Sunday..named after the sun
Monday.. named after the moon
Tuesday.. named after Tiu, the English / Germanic god of war and the sky
Wednesday.. named after Woden, the chief Anglo-Saxon / Teutonic god
Thursday... . named after Thor, the Norse god of thunder
Friday.. named after Freya, the Teutonic goddess of love and beauty
Saturday... named after Saturn

The days of the week dont use the article THE. But the preposition of time ON.
Ex: I go to church on Sunday.
And for asking about the day is:
-What day is it today? Or what is the day?

Song Lyrics:
Track 71. (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
Bryan Adams

Look into my eyes you will see,
What you mean to me.
Search your heart, search your soul,
And when you find me there,
You'll search no more.

Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for.
You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for.
You know it's true.
Everything I do, I do it for you.

Look into your heart, you will find,
There's nothin' there to hide.
Take me as I am. Take my life.
I would give it all.
I would sacrifice.

Don't tell me it's not worth fightin' for.
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more.
You know it's true.
Everything I do, I do it for you.

Oh, yeah.

There's no love like your love.
And no other could give more love.
There's nowhere, unless you're there.
All the time, all the way.
Yay.

Look into your heart, baby.

Oh, you can't tell me it's not worth tryin' for.
I can't help it, there's nothin' I want more.
Yeah, I would fight for you, I'd lie for you.
Walk the wire for you,
Yeah, I'd die for you.

You know it's true.
Everything I do, oh,
I do it for you.

Track 72. Take My Hand (Simple
Plan)

Hey Hey
Hey Hey

Sometimes I feel like everybody's got a
problem
Sometimes I feel like nobody wants to
solve them
I know that people say we're never gonna
make it
But I know we're going to get through
this
(Close your eyes and please don't let me
go)
Don't, Don't, Don't, Don't let me go now
(Close your eyes don't let me let you go)
Don't, Don't, Don't

[Chorus]
Take my hand tonight
Let's not think about tomorrow
Take my hand tonight
We could find some place to go
Cause our hearts are locked forever
And our love will never die
Take my hand tonight
One last time
59

59

The city sleeps and we're lost in the moment
Another kiss says we're lying on the pavement
If they could see us they would tell us that we're crazy
But I know they just don't understand
(Close your eyes and please don't let me go)
Don't, Don't, Don't, Don't let me go now
(Close your eyes don't let me let you go)
Don't, Don't, Don't

[Chorus]
Take my hand tonight
Let's not think about tomorrow
Take my hand tonight
We could find some place to go
Cause our hearts are locked forever
And our love will never die
Take my hand tonight
One last time

Hey Hey
Hey Hey

The raindrops
The tears keep falling
I see your face and it keeps me going
If I get lost your light's going to guide me
And I know that you can take me home
You can take me home
[Chorus]

Take my hand tonight
Let's not think about tomorrow
Take my hand tonight
We could find some place to go
Cause our hearts are locked forever
And our love will never die
Take my hand tonight
One last time.

[Chorus]
Take my hand tonight
Let's not think about tomorrow
Take my hand tonight
We could find some place to go
Cause our hearts are locked forever
And our love will never die (Love
will never die)
Take my hand tonight
One last time.

Track 73. The Titanic

Every night in my dreams
I see you, I feel you.
That is how I know you go on
Far across the distance
A space is between us
You have come to show, you go on.

Chorus
Near, far, wherever you are
I believe that the heart does go on
Once more you open the door
And youre here in my heart
And my heart will go on and on

60

60

Love can touch just one time
And last for a lifetime
And never let go till were gone
Love was when I loved you
One true time I hold to
In my life well always go on

(Chorus)

Youre here, theres nothing I fear
And I know that my heart will go on
Well stay forever this way
You are safe in my heart and
My heart will go on and on.

Track 74. HEY SOUL SISTER- Train

heeey
Your lipstick stains
On the front lobe of my left side brain
I knew I wouldnt forget you
So I went and let you blow my mind

Your sweet moonbeam
The smell of you in every single dream I dream
I knew when we collided
Youre the one I have decided
Whos the one of my kind.

Chorus
Hey Soul sister, aint that Mr. Mister
On the radio stereo
The way you move aint fair you know.
Hey soul sister I dont wanna miss
A single thing you do tonight.

Just in time Im so glad you have a one-track mind like me,
You gave my life direction
A game show love connection we cant deny
Im so obsessed my heart is bound to beat right out my untrimmed chest
I believe in you, like a virgin, youre Madonna,
And Im always gonna wanna blow your mind.
The way you can cut a rug, watching you is
the only drug I need
so gangster, Im so thug, youre the only one
Im dreaming of
You see, I can be myself now finally, in fact
theres nothing I cant be
I want the world to see you be with me
