The Role
Working towards an individual sales target you will be expected to be
resourceful and self motivated. Sourcing and canvassing new clients to
introduce to our portfolio and in-turn being proactive and creative in nding
solutions to their advertising and marketing needs. This will run in sync with
the ongoing management of existing, established clients, ensuring they are
receiving the best possible value from our product portfolio.
The Person
As a Field Sales Representative you will need to be self motivated and driven
towards achieving revenue targets. Condence in working under your own
initiative is essential, although there will be occasions that you are required
to work on team projects.
Time management is key to this role, along with being able to adhere to
rigid deadlines. Previous sales and/or customer service experience could be
advantageous, although this is not an essential requirement as a comprehensive
training programme is in place.

In return the successful candidate can expect to receive:
A Basic Salary 15,500k plus an additional uncapped bonus potential

upon existing digital revenue streams and identify opportunities
for new business. Your ability to work well with the advertising
managers and advertising sales teams throughout the region
will be essential. You will need to keep up-to-date with
developments in the digital world.

INTERVIEWS can be a nerve-wracking
experience, but to help you prepare for
your interviews Ross Porter, managing
director of Blackwood-based Blue Sky
Recruitment, has collected together
examples of some of the questions, and
brief answers, that can commonly be
asked at interview.
1. Tell me about yourself - Talk briefly
about your achievements to date. You
can throw in some personal informa-
tion but we recommend you only do this
if it is relevant to the job.
2. Why do you want to work for us? - In
order to answer this question, you will
need to research the company before-
hand. This will make it easier for you to
talk about the business confidently and
how you can make a positive impact
on it.
3. Give an example of where youve
been able to use your leadership skills
- Even if youre not currently in a
management role, you must cite an
example where you managed a person
or situation, so start thinking!
4. What are your strengths and weak-
nesses? - Highlight strengths which
satisfy the selection criteria and/or the
person specification and allude to weak-
nesses irrelevant to the role.
5. Where do you see yourself in five
years? - Research the structure of the
company and pitch your aspirations to
fit within that company structure. Be
more specific than saying I want to be
a director.
6. What is your greatest achievement?
- Consider what the selection criteria
was and identify which of your achieve-
ments reflect the skills the interviewer
is looking for.
7. Why should we employ you? - De-
scribe the skills and experience you
have that fit the job description.
8. Are you a team player? - You need
to provide examples of how you have
worked within a team and what your
contribution was.
9. What are your salary expectations? -
Be realistic in your salary expectations.

the salary on offer in the job descrip-
tion, then do your research before the
interview and find out what other busi-
nesses are paying in similar roles.
10. Do you have any questions for
us? - If you tend to suffer from nerves
it is fine to take written questions in to
the interview with you. Use this as an
opportunity to build rapport and refer
back to a key point in the interview and
find out more.
