A forest life
Forests fires affect the environment. Many living things die in forests fires.
Trees, which are very important, burn down. They cannot be used for wood.
They cant influence rainfall, and they cannot produce oxygen. Animals are also
affected in forests fires. Some escape, but many die, especially the young
animals.
Fortunately, when the first rain falls, new grass grows on the burnt ground.
Some roots and seeds survive the fire, and these begin to grow.
The forest will grow again. However, if there are too many fires, one day the
forest will not recover.
