Subscription pack of low monthly fee of $8.99 is required to read contents from Scribd. However
this is not a problem for readers from developed nations like US, Canada and Australia. But this
makes some irritations for the readers from developing countries like India Pakistan , Bangladesh
etc. They all looks for any other medium or use it for free.
There is an awesome loophole in Scribd database so that any user without the above mentioned
Subscription pack can view or download the files for free. Follow the below steps to download
or view a file for free.
#Step1:- Go to Scribd.com
#Step2:- Search and find which page to view or download without paying to scribd.

#Step3:- Now copy the Page URL of the page you want to view or download.
#Step4:- Now Sign up on scdribd for a new account. OR use the Facebook Login option.
#Step5:- After the signup you will redirect to a page asking for subscription. [If you are not a
monthly subscriber]
IMPORTANT STEP:
#Step6:- Avoid the subscription notification, get back to your account.

#Step7:- Upload any kind of document. For eg: create a new text document and write anything
on it and upload.
#Step8:- Now give titles and description for the uploaded content [no importance].

#Step9:- Click save and Continue.
#Step10:- Now paste the URL you copied on step2 for downloading and paste it on the browser.
#Step11:- Now click on the Download Button.

download. You can see the file once didnt download getting download easily.
NB: This will only work for a file without Downloading option. PDF and DOC format files can
view and download in this manner.

I came across one such file (Best Magazine Covers of 2008) and tried to figure out how to
download the PDF file from Scribd. Tried the tried and tested browser cache trick, but it gave me
only a .scb file - which I think contains all the relevant data - but was unable to convert it to a
friendlier format.

So what do you do? Google. I did but that didn't help. Thought for a while and then Eureka!

You will only need to install and extra bit of software, that is if you don't already have it (any
way such software are usually handy to have on your PC) - a PDF creator. There are quite a
number of free PDF creators available online that do a decent job. Two of my preferred choices
are: PDFCreator (Open Source) and PrimoPDF (it needs .Net Framework 2.0 to work).

Once you have downloaded and installed a PDF creator, click on the dropdown arrow besides the
iPaper text on the Flash Player, and click on the Print option. On the Print dialog box choose the
PDF creator software instead of your default printer (in case you have one). Then click the Print
button and your file in a PDF form will be ready in a while (depending on the size of the
document).

Step4. Now, here you will see Download button now click on that . and if it
will redirect to fill your details then fill it but dont forgot it must be unique .



Step5 . After the fill of your details it will provide to download that book or file
free only for you. But dont disclose your password to anyone because it is not
good .

Now, you can enjoy free reading books , free downloading File from Scribd.com
in PDF or Word file format




This trick should always work for downloading PDF files from Scribd because there doesn't
seem to be an option availabe to an uploaders to disable the print functionality. And this way you
can also download files without registering with Scribd.

Try changing the view mode to 'Book Mode' instead of 'List Mode'. I did that and it finally worked!
