Friends of Beaverton Basketball proudly announces that on Friday August 1st, 2014

we will host our first Tee It Up golf tournament to benefit the Beaverton High School
(BHS) Mens basketball program.

Around the Beaverton community, excitement and enthusiasm is already mounting
for the 2014-15 season of Beaverton basketball. BHS is well known for its rich
tradition of outstanding sport programs, which are supported by students, parents,
faculty, community and alumni. This year is extra special with the addition of new
head basketball coach Andrew Vancil, a 2005 BHS graduate. Coach Vancil is not
only passionate about basketball, he is very passionate about BHS and is prepared
and excited to lead the development of young players in the community.

In preparation for the upcoming season, Coach Vancil would like to focus on raising
the funds necessary to run a top-flight program. Scholarships for camps and
tournaments are needed, along with uniforms, gear and equipment for the coaches
and players.

We are asking for your help in supporting BHS Mens basketball by becoming a
sponsor of our inaugural Tee It Up event. The cost to put on this tournament includes
course fees, carts, advertising, printing and more. Your generous donation allows
you to take part in a wonderful event while helping to support young student athletes.

As a parent of three young men who had the opportunity to play sports at BHS, Ive
seen firsthand the benefits and life lessons that come from being part of the rich
tradition of Beaverton athletics. Today, those benefits continue as I watch my own
children and their friends give back to the school and community which means so
much to them. I invite you to help us to continue the wonderful traditions of BHS by
contributing to a successful fundraising effort.
