Centennial Project Archivist Aug. 2013-Dec. 2014
Create interactive, multimedia timeline using Timeglider web application. Select relevant
images, text, audio and video from the historical collections of the SBPL and from other
institutions to create coherent narrative of San Bruno history.
Aid in the digital oral history project. Perform outreach and project promotion, interview
oral history participants, edit interview footage and recordings, and create an online
presence showcasing the interview collection.
Continue the digitization, processing and preservation of SBPLs historic photograph and
ephemera collections. Add digitized items to ContentDM database.
Library Services (June - Aug. 2013)
Database: Created Access database containing 1100 records with multi-layer search
function and filters. Developed user interface and subject heading system to facilitate use
and record retrieval.
Collection Development: Analyzed the composition of the juvenile nonfiction history
section, identified weaknesses and weeds, compiled list of recommended acquisitions to fill
gaps in collection and increase its relevance, accuracy and diversity.
Glenview Fire Archive (Dec. 2012)
Digitized 500+ newspaper articles to add to the Glenview Fire Archive. Performed quality
control and used pre-established naming convention.
Prepared briefing on similar projects highlighting best practices, suggestions for public
access, and technical resources needed to create at digital archive suitable for public use.

Maintained order of collection; patrons in locating library materials; attention to detail,
