Dyeing is the process of adding color to textile products like fibers, yarns, and fabrics. Dyeing is
normally done in a special solution containing dyes and particular chemical material. Different
shade produced in dyeing by the same color. This shade depends on dyeing recipe. In the
variation of dyeing recipe different color shade made in fabric or yarn or fiber.

Dyeing Parameters | Production Parameter of Dyeing
Production Parameter of Dyeing:
Textile dyeing is a process of imparting color to the textile material through a dye. During this
process it is very important to provide favorable conditions to achieve the desired effects. For
getting desired shade of color you have to strictly follow some dyeing parameters. The following
dyeing parameters are maintain in dyeing.
Dyeing Parameters:
1. pH:
During scouring & bleaching 10-11
During enzyme 4.5
During leveling- 6.5-7
During softening 4.0-5.5
Textile Dyeing
2. Temperature (C):
For cotton scouring & bleaching 1100C
For polyester dyeing 100-1350c
For cotton dyeing
-80 to 90 (hot brand)
-40 to 60 (cold brand)
For cotton hot wash 70-80
For cotton cold wash 30-40
3. Time:
In Cotton Dyeing
-Scouring & Bleaching 60-90 Mins
-Scouring Hot 10 Mins
-Enzyme 60 Mins
-Leveling 10 -20Mins
-Softening 30 Mins
For Color Steam Both Reactive & Disperse 60-90 Mins
4. M:L
1:7 for 100% cotton
1:8 for Black and white color
1:10 for vicose
1:20 for pigment dyeing
