Amadeus Training Invitation


Amadeus Selling Platform is a Windows-based application, it is therefore essential for delegates to be familiar
with the Windows environment.

In order to make the training as effective as possible, delegate(s) must be available for the full duration of the
course. To avoid possible misunderstandings, we would also like to point out that our offices are non-
smoking, and that the use of cellular phones is not permitted whilst in training.

Tea and coffee are served during the morning and afternoon breaks. Lunch is not provided. Delegates are
responsible for bringing their own stationery. Highlighters and Post-It notes are also quite useful.

We look forward to meeting you, and hope that this will be the beginning of a long and mutually rewarding
association.

Amadeus reserves the right to charge a R500 no-show fee.

PLEASE NOTE: A seat will only be confirmed once Amadeus has received the completed and signed
pre-course questionnaire.

ASSESSMENT: AMADEUS is a CATHSSETA-accredited provider.

In order for the learner to earn 16 credits towards CATHSSETA certification, the following assessments will
take place:

Formative and summative assessments will be conducted during the week
On Friday, learners will be expected to do a 3-hour written assessment
A log-book will have to be completed at the workplace and returned to Amadeus within 1 month of the
course

Feedback to learners will be supplied via email. Feedback to Managers will be supplied on request.
Once a learner has been found competent, Amadeus will submit the learners details to CATHSSETA, who will
update their database.

Please complete and return the attached pre-course questionnaire to us as soon as possible. We may
require a potential delegate to complete a pre-course evaluation on basic travel knowledge if deemed
necessary by our Training Department.

(either click on this URL to open a new Internet Explorer page to go directly to this site, or copy and paste
this URL into your browsers Address field).
2. The following screen appears:


3. Complete all the appropriate fields (an asterisk * indicates a mandatory field) and then click on Submit
(you will need to move down to see the button). This will register you as an Amadeus Learning City user
and automatically take you to the website.
4. If you wish to save this website for future use, do the following :
a. Copy (CTRL+C) the URL displayed in the Address field while you are the site i.e.
http://www.alc.amadeus.com/ilearn/en/learner/jsp/login.jsp?site=NMC+South
b. Click on the Favourites menu, then click on Add to Favourites
c. Paste the URL into the Name field and click on OK.

To access the site later, go directly there by clicking on the URL in your Favourites menu.
