Game: The Wolf Among Us Developer: Telltale Games Episodes 1-4 available now on for PS3 & 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC/ MAC and on the App store. Epi- sode 5 release date: July 8th This won't really be an in depth re- view of episodes 1-4, as there is just too much game to include here. We will give you an overview, though, and hopefully enough to decide whether you want to give it a try. Telltale games is an incredibly solid studio who is, I think, redefning what an interactve game is, the stories that can be told, and how we feel afer the credits roll. The Wolf Among Us is based on Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series published by DC Comics. The story takes place in Fabletown, a small community located inside Man- hatan in 1986. There are a series of murders happening in the city and it is up to youone of the most recog- nizable fairy tale characters everto solve the case. You are the Big Bad Wolf, or as he is known in Fabletown, Sherif Bigby. Bigby is dealing with a lot of issues, both internally and physically, throughout the game. Each interroga- ton, each Quick Timed Event, is a choice. Does he be as big and as bad as he can be or does he prove to all of the fables that doubt him, that he has changed? The art style and the graphics in this game are great. The voiceover work and writng are creatve and clever. And they did a great job with the soundtrack; it has a dark noir, synth feel to it. The replay-ability for this game is mid to high. The story of a sick and twisted serial killer is a riv- etng one that will hook you and have you thinking of your favorite child- hood fairy tales in a whole new light. Episodes 1-4 ratng: An 8.5 out of 10.
