MASTER TEACHERS ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
School Year 2013-2014



INTRODUCTION:

Grade One, section Mangga, comprised of 23 boys and 16 girls with a total of 39 pupils
worked hand in hand together with the teacher in achieving quality education in San Vicente Elementary
School. Being a part of the school, everybody must show his/her great assets and capabilities in order to
give and provide the best in everything regarding education. It also includes the molding of the moral,
social and spiritual values of children which are very much needed in exuding good citizenry.

A teacher handles the most important role and challenging task in the life of school children. She
has to take into consideration a lot of things necessary for the education of the pupils as well as their other
needs. A teacher needs to make necessary actions in acquiring new skills and techniques, and new
innovations for the improvement of the career. Thus, teaching is a never ending process. She needs to
continuously strive in all aspects to produce and yield the best. The reward of being a teacher can be
gauged and manifested through her accomplishments done.

As part of the new K to 12 Curriculum, many activities were done to conform with the necessary
and needed skills for the holistic development of the grade one pupils.



ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014

A. PUPIL DEVELOPMENT:

3. No Non-numerates were reported in the class, all pupils conformed with the basic
competencies required for grade one pupils.
4. No Non-readers were reported in the school reading evaluation done as measured using
sounds, phonics, basic words and other relevant materials as introduced under the new
learning competencies of the k to 12 Curriculum including the Oral Fluency both in Filipino
and Mother Tongue.
5. Improved pupils accuracy in 4Fs (particularly addition and subtraction) by frequent use of
window cards, counters and other techniques to improve pupils capabilities and raise the
numeracy level of the pupils.
6. Developed pupils reading comprehension through the use of remedial readings, varied
approaches and other teaching techniques and strategies and lots of interactive approaches
suited to their learning needs and capabilities particularly in the new K to 12 Program that
provides spiral learning and holistic learning.
7. Diagnostics tests in all subjects were administered to all pupils, results were analyzed,
interpreted and used as reference in starting the various lessons with at least 75% desired
effectiveness using the new Curriculum Guides and Teaching Modules in the K to 12
Curriculum.
8. Administered Pre-Test, Mid-Year Test and Post-Test in English and Filipino,
both in Oral Fluency and Silent Reading to check pupils progress in Reading.
9. Achievement tests in all subjects were administered to all pupils, results therein analyzed and
interpreted to improve methods and techniques of instruction with 75% effectiveness.
10. Pupils height and weight were measured by quarters, submitted the required reports in
Nutrition to continuously monitor pupils nutritional status.
11. All pupils participated actively in the school culminating activities like Nutrition Month
Activities, Lakad-Agham, Physical Fitness Day, Scouting Activities and other school related
activities that enrich their experiences in non-curricular activities..

13. One pupil was a participant in the District Poster Making Contest in Nutrition .
















B. STAFF DEVELOPMENT:

1. Served as the District Chair in Mathematics.
2. Served as member of the School Ranking Committee for teacher Applicants.
3. Served as member of the School Grievance Committee.
4. Served as the School Treasurer.
5. Served as the Grade Chair for Grade One.
6. Served as Chair/Co-Chair in Different Planning Committee for School Programs.
7. Served as Chair in School SBM Dimension 1
8. Served as Chair in School BEIS in Legislation and Control.
9. Served as discussant in the SLAC sessions in the school INSET.
10. Attended all the required Dep.Ed. related and other activities such as Brigada Eskwela, Early
Registration Day, Alay-Lakad, N.E. Day,Teachers Day etc.
11. Served as Room Supervisor in the National Achievement Test.
12. Attended SLAC Sessions in the school INSET.
13. Mentored co-teachers in their teaching needs.
14. Read Professional Magazines to improve knowledge and skills for instructional growth and efficiency
with a desired effectiveness of 85%.
15. Has continuously surfed the web (INTERNET), reading DepEd Memos, Orders and Updates and other
relevant topics necessary for professional growth and development and other relevant activities.

B. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT;

1. The New K to 12 Curriculum had been fully utilized in all Subject areas to assure the achievement of
knowledge and skills objectives as well as the preparation of a workable and attainable lessons and
activities in the daily lesson log.
2. Put up additional item tests in Test Item Banks in all subject areas using the new learning
competencies set for grade one pupils.
3. Put up additional charts and other instructional materials.
4. Devised additional instructional materials and utilized the same to make instruction more meaningful
and effective.
5. Acquired thirty nine (39) photocopied Workbooks in Mathematics and English for Grade I to
remediate the lack of Workbooks in Mathematics and English while waiting for the Activity Sheets for
the K to 12 Curriculum.
6. Provided individual Math Kits inside the classroom for better teaching of Mathematics.
7. Provided small books in English and Filipino for supplemental, enrichment and recreational reading of
the pupils.


D. PHYSICAL FACILITIES:

1. Put up Pupils Cabinet/Locker through the efforts of Homeroom PTA Officers and parents.
2. Outside walls of classrooms were repainted.
3. Repaired leaking faucets.
4. Repaired and maintained wood window jalousies.
5. Installed new set of curtains, funds generated through PTA Officers and Parents.
6. Repaired leaking roofs through solicitation from civic minded person.
7. Maintained classroom front lawn and garden.
8. Put up new Medicine Cabinet.
