Students should be able to identify where things come from and use the sentence structure - ... comes from a ...!. "e can use matching activities and #uestion games with the flashcards to review. "e will also spend some e$tra time with the spelling practice for rainforest animals towards the end of the week% as games like Spin the &ottle and 'angman can be a fun way to prepare for the spelling test. Students have to respond to commands in groups in order to find their way around and out of the rainforest. Watching videos of the rainforest and naming what we see. Eploring the animals of the rainforest and how they interlink with each other. "his unit is a good opportunity to get some decorations up in the classroom teacher (ike and ! have prepared a variety of Rainforest themed arts and crafts for the students to do like spiral snakes and finger puppets. *s we already have an under the sea wall display outside the classroom it will $e nice to create a rainforest theme inside. !n the second week of this unit+ we will also concentrate on spelling some of the more simple voca$ulary words. !n practice we will concentrate again on vowels and then progress to full spelling later in the week.
