What would happen if I relinquished control
of my prayer letter to my students? What if
they had the opportunity to write whatever
they wanted about me? In what follows, I do
just that!
Steven, I have grown immensely under
your discipleship and leadership, and I truly
admire the amount of God's love and encour-
agement that so fill your interactions with all
of us, everything from the fatherly/brotherly
words of wisdom to the hugs. (Chris)
Steven has taught me so stinking much
about walking in the Spirit, praying and being
a light in the community. He's really encour-
aged me to take steps of faith and live un-
ashamed of the gospel of Christ. (Jason)
Steven is weird. He wears his spiritual heart
on his sleeve and will let anyone search it out.
He loves people and the Lord. Steven’s is a
heart surrendered. (Dan)
You are a rock for Him in your family and

faithful man of prayer. Forever believing and

Steve, you are truly a man among boys, and
no, that is not a reference to your age. Your
absolute passion for the gospel, your sold out
heart for the Lord, your investment in all of us,
your love for your family, and your wisdom
and knowledge of the Word all point to a ma-
ture man of God. It has been a blessing to
learn from you. Keep sharpening us for Him.

agree that you have made a big impact on our

time on developing our team of ministry part-
ners (those that give and pray). We are at 62%
of our monthly financial goal and are trusting
God to bring us to 100% so we can return to
full-time work at the university.
