Dear customer,

This manual contains all the necessary information to master the operational characteristics of the TC-9. Carefully
read this manual before you start working with the TC-9. It makes it a lot easier to familiarize oneself with the
controller. Keep this manual at hand, so that you can use it as a reference book at all times.

As our products are subject to continuous development and updating, Abbi-sun is entitled to revise or modify its
products without prior notice.

IMPORTANT!

In case any inductive loads are connected to the TC-9, such as field break switches and the like, a
proper anti-interference device (RC-network, 100 Ohms + 100nF) should be applied.

All weak current wiring should be shielded. Shield connected as shown in the wiring diagram.

It is really important to provide the installation of a reliable alarm mechanism. Abbi-sun advises
next to the application of the computer alarm signaling, a minimum/maximum thermostat that is
not dependent on the computer.

Abbi-sun recommends checking its proper functioning regularly (at least 1x a day).

Features of the TC-9 ventilation controller

The TC-9 is specially developed for climate control in sectional production houses. The sections are temperature-
controlled by means of flap, cooling and heating stages and a number of analog outputs (to control in- and outlets).

After a reset, all the functions are put on hold for 8 seconds. This gives the controller time to read all the temperature
sensors.

The controller has the following features:
- Measurement of room temperature (by a maximum of 7 temperature sensors).
- Measurement of outside temperature.
- Timer function for cooling stage 1.
- Up to 9 heating or cooling stages (each max. 5Amp. ON/ OFF).
- Misting function on last cooling stage or analog output 4.
- Heating to be set for cascade or zone (max. 2 stages) heating.
- One flap controls (max. 4Amp.).
Control by means of: 1 feedback by means of a potentiometer between 500 ohm and 10Kohm or by
pressure sensor (0-10V signal).
- Separate zone 1 regulation.
- Curve controls.
- Fault output.
- Minimum compensation at excessive humidity.
- Reduction of controls at falling outside temperature.
- Fault message in case of faulty sensors.
- Fault message at relative minimum en maximum room temperature.
- Fault message at relative minimum en maximum separate zone 1 temperature.
- Fault message at absolute room and separate zone 1 temperature.
- Display option Fahrenheit or Celsius.
- Blocking of the user functions.

Note: The TC-9 can also be extended for communication. Ask your distributor for further information.

Operation of the controller

The front panel of the TC-9 ventilation controller is provided with 7 keys and LCD-display built up of 4 lines. The first
line indicates the menu you have accessed. The and keys can be used to go to a following menu. The other
three lines display measurements and/ or settings. The cursor (the < sign at the end of the line indicates the
possibility of making a setting. Using the left and keys the cursor can be moved and used to point out a
particular function. Provided the function pointed out by the cursor is a setting, the and keys on the right can be
used to adjust the value. After its entry the value can be stored into the computers memory by pressing the SET-key.
Do not forget that last action! From then onwards the system will control on the newly entered values.
Indicators
The indicators represent the following symbols:

Zone 1 en 2 temperature

Zone 1 temperature reads standard the measured temperature of sensor 1. In case the additional sensor 3 is
activated, the zone 1 temperature reading is calculated from the average reading of sensor 1 and sensor 3.

Note: If sensor 1 and 3 are activated and one of them gets defective, zone 1 temperature takes over the overall
temperature reading from the remaining sensor.

As for the zone 2 temperature the same applies as for zone 1 temperature, but now for sensor 2 and the additional
sensor 4.

Separate zone 1 regulation

With the TC-9 it is possible to make a separate regulation with its own:
- Temperature (Zone 1 temperature).
- Set temperature.
- Minimum and maximum relative fault temperature settings.
- Absolute fault temperature setting.
- Curve control.

Normally the room temperature is the average of all activated sensors without the outside temperature. With the
setting separate zone 1 it is possible to exclude the zone 1 temperature from the room temperature. Now you can
make a separate regulation.
Note I: Analog outputs, when activated and controlled by the zone 1 temperature are automatic connected to
separate zone 1 regulation.
Note II: The separate zone 1 regulation and all connected regulations, make no use of humidity. Therefore the
minimum compensation will not be used (see chapter humidity compensation).
Activating the separate zone 1 regulation
The function total heating has to be set to 1 or higher (Installer general menu 21, F2).
The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installers general menu 21, F15).
The function separate zone1 has to be set to 1 (Installers general menu 21, F13).
The function heating has to be set to ZONED (Installers general menu 22, F1).

Blocking of user functions

The installer has the possibility to block all the user functions. The user can look at all the menus and functions, but
can not change them. The only functions that can be changed are: Set temperature, set temperature (separate zone
1), current time and minimum/ maximum measured room temperature.
Activating the blocking function
- The function block has to be set to 1 (Installers general menu 20, F1).

Special texts

The installer has the opportunity to change several texts in the user menus and fault messages.
The installer is able to change the next menu texts (13 characters):
- Flap 1 (These text shall also being used by fault messages).
- Analog output 1 to 4.

The installer is able to change the next function texts (7 characters):
- Flap 1.
- Analog output 1to 4.
- Zone 1 en 2 (Zone 1 text shall also be used in the menu text of curve separate zone 1).

Note: Ask your distributor for further information.

sensor (OTS) has been activated.

By setting the 'room number' (Installer special menu 30, F2) at 0, the TC-9 will start transmitting, through
communication, the outside temperature to all the other controllers every 60 seconds, thus ensuring that they all make
use of a single central outside temperature measurement.

When the 'room number' is not set at 0, the controller only receives the outside temperature by communication, if the
outside temperature sensor is activated. The controller starts measuring the outside temperature itself, after the
outside temperature reading has not been updated for 5 minutes (2 minutes after start up of the controller).

As soon as the outside temperature drops under 15,0C (59,0F), the proportional ranges will be increased (flap and
analog outputs). An increase of 0,1 degree per 1,0 degree of decrease (maximum 3,5 degrees).

Cooling

The TC-9 is able to the following regulations:
- Cascade regulation.
- Step regulation.

The cascade and step regulations are working with a maximum of 9 cooling stages. The function 'number of cooling
stages' allow you to define the exact number of cooling stages that in your opinion are required in your configuration.
The remaining stages can be used for heating.

Note: Making use of a mist facility, by means of a stage contact, it will automatically be activated in the last cooling
stage.

Cooling stages connection/ disconnection pattern
With the TC-9 you can select a desired connection/ disconnection pattern for the cooling stages.
The different patterns are:
Add = When more (extra) cooling is required, a next stage will be added to the current active cooling stage(s).
When less cooling is required, the highest cooling stage will be switched off. (With a delay between
connection/ disconnection of max. 10 seconds.)
At = When more cooling is required, the current active cooling stage will be switched off and the next cooling
stage will be switched on after 2 seconds. When less cooling is required, the current cooling stage will be
switched off and the last cooling stage will become active.
Note: When the last cooling stage is activated the procedure of adding or at stages will have reached its maximum.
When the minimum stage has been reached, the switching back action ends.

Changing connection/ disconnection pattern of cooling stages
- The function switch on has to be set to at or add (Installer general menu 21, F14).

Cascade regulation
In order to reach the desired section temperature the TC-9 works with a maximum of 9 cooling stages. Each stage
has its own individual hysteresis setting (i.e. the number of degrees between connection and disconnection of a
particular stage).

The controller works as follows:
- In case the room temperature is lower than the set temperature plus offset, cooling stage 1 will run on a timer
(when activated).
- The moment the room temperature exceeds the set temperature plus offset and hysteresis 1, cooling stage 1
will be activated.
- When the room temperature gets higher, one stage will be added at a time, that is to say the moment the room
temperature exceeds the stage hysteresis.
The stages are added from stage 1 to 9.

Stage 1 timer
Stage 1 can be operated on a timer. The function only governs cooling stage 1 and will only be activated when the
room temperature drops under the set temperature plus offset. Setting the stage 1 ON-time at 0% it will be switched
off, at 100% cooling stage 1 will continuously being activated. Otherwise, the ON-time will be the percentage of the
total time of stage 1 and at the same time the ON-time can be raised by increasing the air humidity.

Example I: When the total time of stage 1 is 15 minutes and its ON-time 10%, the ON-time will be 90 seconds (i.e.
1 minute and 30 seconds).
Example II: When the total time of stage 1 is 15 minutes, its ON-time 10% and the humidity compensation 30%,
the ON-time will be 360 seconds (i.e. 6 minutes).
Note: The minimum ON/OFF-time is 10 seconds.

Activating cascade regulation without natural ventilation
- The function total cooling has to be set to 1 or higher (Installer general menu 21, F1).
(Higher when a misting stage is used).
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F15).
- The function cooling step has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F12).

Figure 1 Control pattern of cooling stages.

Natural ventilation
When natural ventilation is activated the controller will first try to regulate with natural ventilation. Analog output 1 and
2 or automatically being activated and controlled as cooling with bandwidth control. Analog output 1 will be controlled
by zone 1 temperature and analog output 2 with zone 2 temperature (see chapter Analog outputs).

When the room temperature rises too much, the controller switches over to the cooling stages and at the same time
analog outputs 1 and 2 are regulated to 0%. The controller switches over to the cooling stages, the moment the room
temperature reaches or exceeds the set temperature plus the switch point (see menu ADJUST STAGES).

Room temperature >= Set temperature + switch point

Dependent on the switch time the controller will now regulate as follows:
- The side inlets will be regulated in the complete closed position (analog outputs 1 and 2).
- The cooling stage are activated and regulated according to the normal regulation.
- The numbers of cooling stages are limited by the function maximum stages.
After the switch time has elapsed, the controller will regulate the cooling stages without maximum limit.

The controller switches back to natural ventilation, when the following criteria are complied with:
- The outside temperature should have reached or dropped under the set temperature (provided the function
outside sensor is activated (see Installer special menu 33, F2)).
- The room temperature should have reached or dropped under the set temperature plus switch point minus 2C
(3,6F).

Outside temperature <= set temperature (provided outside sensor is activated)
and
room temperature <= set temperature + switch point - 2C

Dependent on the switch time the controller will now regulate as follows:
- The side inlets are regulated according the normal regulation (analog outputs 1 and 2).
- The cooling stages remain activated and are regulated according to the normal regulation.
- The numbers of cooling stages are limited by the function maximum stages.
After the switch time has elapsed, the controller switches off all cooling stages.

Note I: When natural ventilation is activated the separate zone 1 regulation, when activated, will automatically be
turned off. Also will it automatically change the cooling control, when activated as step mode, to cascade
regulation. These functions will be blocked.
Note II: The switch time must be at least as long as the entire running time of the side inlets.

Activating cascade regulation with natural ventilation
- The function total cooling has to be set to 1 or higher (Installer general menu 21, F1).
(Higher then 1, when a misting stage is used).
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 1 (Installer general menu 21, F15).

Step regulation
This regulation makes use of maximum of 9 cooling stages. With the function bandwidth, the controlled area will
automatically be divided (see figure 2 bandwidth step). Each stage has the same (turn off) hysteresis of 0,5C (0,9F).
Note I: A fault message will appear when the result value, of the divided bandwidth, is smaller then 0,5C (0,9F).
There will be an alarm when total bandwidth step regulation divided by number of cooling stages (no
misting stage) + 1 is smaller then 0,5C (see functions in menu 2, F5 and Installer general menu 21, F1).
Note II: The step regulation works with one or more analog outputs.

The controller works as follows:
- In case the room temperature is lower than the set temperature plus offset, all stages are deactivated and the
connected analog outputs will be regulated to their position 0 setting.
- The moment the room temperature exceeds the set temperature plus offset, the connected analog outputs will
be controlled after their settings until their maximum control has been reached (100%). When the maximum
control has been reached, a stage will be activated and the analog outputs will be regulated to setting position
of the activated stage. When the temperature drops, the analog outputs remains being regulated to setting
position of the activated stage, until de stage is deactivated.
- When the room temperature riches, the connected analog outputs start controlling from the setting position of
the activated stage to their maximum control has been reached (100%). When the maximum control has been
reached, a stage will be activated and the analog outputs will be regulated to setting position of the activated
stage. When the temperature drops, the analog outputs remains being regulated to setting position of the
activated stage, until de stage is deactivated.
- When the room temperature gets higher and all stages have being activated, the connected analog outputs will
run from the setting position of the activated stage to their maximum setting.

Note I: If 'total cooling' stages is set to 0 or 1, but is used as a misting stage, all the cooling stages remains
deactivated.
Note II: A fault message will appear when the bandwidth is too small. The cooling stages will be turned off and the
connected analog outputs will be regulated to their minimum setting.

Activating step regulation
- The function total cooling has to be set to 1 or higher (Installer general menu 21, F1).
(Higher when a misting stage is used).
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F15).
- The function cooling step has to be set to 1 (Installer general menu 21, F12).

Heating

The TC-9 is able to the following regulations:
- Cascade regulation.
- Zone 1 and 2 regulation.
- Separate zone 1 regulation.

The cascade regulation works with a maximum of 9 heating stages. While the zone regulations are working with a
maximum of 2 heating stages. The function 'number of heating stages' allow you to define the exact number of
heating stages that, in your opinion, are required in your configuration. The remaining stages can be used for cooling.
The first heating stage is stage 9 till possible stage 1.

Here a description of the various regulations:

Cascade: - Here the available stages will be connected and disconnected one after the other.
- Its control is defined by the room temperature.
- For the offset setting, offset zone 1 is selected.
- The order of connection goes from last stage to first one (e.g. stage 9 to 1).

Zone: - A maximum of 2 stages are used.
- The two stages are used for zone 1 and 2. So setting total heating stages to 2 implies that
zone 1 will operate with stage 9 and zone 2 with stage 8.
- Each stage has its own offset setting.
- Its control is defined for:
- Zone 1: By the zone 1 temperature.
- Zone 2: By the zone 2 temperature.

Separate zone 1: - A minimum of 1 stage is required.
- The regulation is equal to the zone regulation, however zone 1 has instead an offset setting
its own set temperature setting.
- For zone 1 it is possible the let it works with a hysteresis or with PWM (time controlled).

Flap

In its standard setting the TC-9 controller is capable of regulating 1 flap.

The flap can be regulated by:
- Bandwidth (see menu ADJUST FLAP)
- Highest active cooling stage (see menu ADJUST FLAP)
- Pressure sensor (see menu SPECIAL FLAP)
Flap by means of bandwidth
If the flap is controlled by room temperature, than menu FLAP 1 gives you access to the functions: offset, bandwidth,
minimum and maximum. If the room temperature is lower then the set temperature plus the offset than the flap will be
controlled to the minimum opening position. If the room temperature is higher, than the set temperature plus the offset
and bandwidth, the flap will be controlled to the maximum position. If the room temperature is between these values
than the flap will be positioned between minimum and maximum according the temperature.

- The function bandwidth mode has to be set to 1 (Installer general menu 24, F1).

Flap by means of highest active cooling stage
If the flap is controlled by the highest active cooling stage, than the menu FLAP 1 gives you access to functions for
every cooling stage. Here you can set a certain flap position for every different cooling stage. The flap position is
equal to the highest active cooling stage.

Example: Setting position 3 at 30% and the highest active stage being stage 3, the flap will be regulated to 30%.

Activating the flap by means of highest active cooling stage
- The function total flaps has to be set to 1 (Installer special menu 31, F1).
- The function pressure sensor has to be set to 0 (Installer special menu 31, F2).
- With the function range flap you can automatically determine the range of the flap (Installer special menu 31,
F3).
- The function bandwidth mode has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 24, F1).

Flap by means of pressure
The flap position can also be controlled by under pressure sensor. You can set the desired pressure and offset. If the
pressure gets higher than the set pressure plus the offset the flap will go open. The other way is the same. The
control is done by time. In the menu ADJUST FLAP you can set the flap on and off-time. During the on-time the flap
will be opened or closed according the calculations. During the off-time no action will be taken. After the off-time the
computer will calculate if there is adjusting necessary and starts again with the on-time.

If the pressure is lower or higher than the minimum or maximum pressure failure setting the fault relay will be
activated after a certain delay time (see menu ADJUST FLAP).

Analog output

The TC-9 controller has analog outputs. Depending on several settings the analog outputs can be controlled by the
normal set temperature or the separate zone 1 set temperature.

The TC-9 is able to the following regulations:
- Cooling/ Heating regulation (bandwidth).
- Highest active cooling stage.
- Step regulation.

Analog 1 and 2 used by natural ventilation
When natural ventilation is activated, analog outputs 1 and 2 will automatically be activated. The controller
automatically turns the analog outputs as cooling with bandwidth control. Analog output 1 will be controlled by zone 1
temperature, where analog output 2 will be controlled by zone 2 temperature. For activation of the natural ventilation
see chapter natural ventilation.

Note: As long natural ventilation is activated, the installer menus for analog output 1 and 2 will be blocked.
Also the functions cooling step and separate zone1 (menu 21, F12 and F13) will be blocked.

Analog 4 used for misting output
With the TC-9 it is possible to use the analog 4 output instead of the highest cooling stage. The output has to set to 0-
20mA control it is done by removing the jumper J10 on the extension board (see Wiring diagram EX1RL). For
activation analog 4 as misting output see chapter misting.

Note: All function and menus of analog 4 will be blocked.

Analog outputs as cooling/ heating regulation (bandwidth)
If the analog output is controlled by bandwidth than the menu will give access to the following functions: offset,
bandwidth, minimum and maximum. Depending on the installer settings de analog output can be controlled as heating
or cooling.

Activating the analog outputs as cooling/ heating regulation (bandwidth)
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F15).
- The value of the function analog active' has to be adjusted with the total number of analog outputs that are
currently present in the controller (Installer special menu 32, F1).
- The value of the function bandwidth mode has to be set to 1 (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F3).
Note: When this function is not visible and the function P-analog is set to step, than first change that
setting to cooling or heating.
- The value of the function P-analog can be set as cooling or heating (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F2).
- With the function analog type you can select if the analog outputs has to regulation by the room, zone 1 or
zone 2 temperature (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F1).

Figure 10 Control pattern analog outputs as cooling.

Analog outputs by means of highest active cooling stage
If the analog outputs are controlled by means of cooling stages, than the analog outputs will have settings for every
cooling stage. Here you can set a certain analog output position for every different cooling stage. The analog output
position is equal to the highest (active) cooling stage.

Example: Setting position 3 at 30% and the highest active stage being stage 3, the analog output will be regulated
to 30%.

Activating the analog outputs by means of highest active cooling stage
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F15).
- The value of the function analog active' has to be adjusted with the total number of analog outputs that are
currently present in the controller (Installer special menu 32, F1).
- The value of the function bandwidth mode has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F3).
Note: When this function is not visible and the function P-analog is set to step, than first change that
setting to cooling or heating (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F2).

Analog outputs as step regulation
For a detailed description of this function see the chapter cooling. This function uses the same functions as by analog
outputs by means of highest active cooling stage. Only now the function represents a minimum setting for every step.

Note I: When the function 'cooling step' is not set to 1, the cooling stages will not work according as step function.
The analog outputs will than be controlled on their minimum setting ('position 0').
Note II: When step regulation is chosen, the controller automatically changes the setting of analog type to room
temperature.

Activating the analog outputs as step regulation
- The function natural ventilation has to be set to 0 (Installer general menu 21, F15).
- The value of the function analog active' has to be adjusted with the total number of analog outputs that are
currently present in the controller (Installer special menu 32, F1).
- The value of the function P-analog can be set to step (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F2).
Note: When function P-analog (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F2) is not visible then first set the function
bandwidth mode has to 1 (Installer general menu 25 to 28, F3).

Fault messages

The TC-9 has the following fault messages:
- General fault messages.
- Fault messages for room regulation.
- Fault messages for separate zone 1 regulation.

The (relative) maximum fault message can be shifted when the controller makes use of an outside temperature
sensor (or by communication). Normally the maximum fault message appears when the temperature rises above the
set temperature plus the maximum fault temperature. Now the fault message will appear when also the temperature
rises above the outside temperature plus the Outside temperature fault compensation (Installer general menu 29,
F1).

Note: This is for the room as well as the separate zone 1 temperature.

When the controller detects a fault, the indication will appear in the lcd-display by the text '*** FAULT ***' at the top of
the display. The third line shows the exact fault message. At the same time a fault relay will be released pressing an
arbitrary key. If the fault is still present after 1 minute, the controller will display the fault message once more.

Note I: In case of a sensor fault the fault pilot lamp blinks.
Note II: After the flap ranges could not been defined, the fault message only appears on the display. The fault relay
will not be released (Only with the function range flap at installer special menu 31, F3).

Curves

The TC-9 has the following curves control:
- Room curve.
- Separate zone 1 curve.

The curve function can be used to automatically set a temperature after a curve. The curve consists of 5 breakpoints.
For each break point you enter a temperature and on what day the break should be reached. Simultaneously the
minimum position for cooling stage 1 timer, flap 1 and analog outputs 1 to 4 will be adjusted. On the days between
two breaks the controller then automatically calculates itself the necessary adjustments.

Note I: Applying curves it has no sense to set a desired temperature and the minimum positions, as the controller
will calculate and adjust, if necessary, those values from the curve settings all the time.
Note II: If you do not wish to use all break points, you simply make the final day setting of the breaks you do not
use 0. The breaks will be skipped then.
Note III: The curves automatically determine on which the analog outputs are connected.

Humidity compensation

The various settings can be affected by the application of a humidity sensor. The minimum values of the controls
(such as stage 1 on-time, flap 1 and analog outputs) can be compensated by the humidity level in the house.

Example: With a measured humidity lying 5% higher than the start humidity compensation, a proportional range
10% and a maximum compensation of 100%, the compensation will be 50%. The system then will
control on its minimum setting + 50% compensation.

When the minimum setting + compensation exceed the maximum setting, the maximum setting will always have
priority. At the same time, when cooling stage 1 operates on its timer, the ON-time will be compensated by the
calculated compensation by the humidity level. The ON-time + compensation are limited at 100%.

The TC-9 is able to the following regulations:
- Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity, temperature and hysteresis.
- Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity, temperature and bandwidth.
- Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity and bandwidth.

When the misting stage or analog output 4 is active and the measured humidity reaches or exceeds the misting stop
point (installer general menu 23, F3), the misting stage will be deactivated. The misting stage will again be activated
when the humidity drops under the 'misting stop' minus the 'misting hysteresis (humidity) (installer general menu 23,
F2).
Note: Make sure that the value of misting hysteresis (humidity)is lower then the value of the 'misting stop'.
Otherwise the misting stage, after deactivation, can not be activated.

Figure 13 Misting stage or analog output 4 on/ off switch point by means of humidity.

Activating the misting
- The function RH active has to be set to 1 (Installer special menu 33, F3).
- The value of the function misting mode (Installer general menu 23, F1) can be set as follows:
- 1: Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity, temperature and hysteresis.
- 2: Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity, temperature and bandwidth.
- 3: Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity and bandwidth.
- The function 'mist anal.4' has to be set to 1 (Installer general menu 23, F4) when analog output 4 is used for
misting instead of the highest cooling stage.

Misting stage or analog output 4 by humidity, temperature and hysteresis
The moment the room temperature reaches or exceeds the set temperature plus the misting offset and the misting
hysteresis setting, the misting timer will be activated. Conversely, when the room temperature reaches or drops under
the set temperature plus the misting offset setting, the misting timer will be switched off.

The misting timer employs a misting ON-time (%) and a total misting time (minutes). The misting timer is deactivated
by making the misting ON-time 0. Setting the misting ON-time at 100%, the misting stage or analog output 4 will
continuously be activated. The moment the measured humidity reaches or exceeds the misting stop point, the
misting stage or analog output 4 will be deactivated. The misting stage or analog output 4 will again be activated
when the humidity drops under the misting stop minus the misting hysteresis (humidity).

Note: The minimum ON/ OFF-time is 10 seconds.
Example: With a total misting time of 15 minutes and a misting ON-time of 10% the ON-time will be 90 seconds
(1 minute and 30 seconds).

sensor)).

31 SP. FLAP F 3
total flaps 0
press. regul. 0
range flap 0 <

Range flap (0 - 1)
This function allows you to establish the range of flap 1.

Setting this function to 1 the flap will be regulated close until nothing has changed at
its feedback for 15 seconds. After that the flap will be regulated open and its
operation time will be defined, until nothing has changed at its feedback for 15
seconds. After this procedure the flap ranges are checked and the setting switches
back to 0. In case of fault detection a fault message appears in the LCD-display.

A fault message is displayed when:
- The closed position of the flap is past 30% of the total turn.
- The turn of the potentiometer from closed to open is less than 40% of the total
range.
- The sense of rotation from closed to open is not good.

Note: This setting is limited by function total flaps.
