Based on our audit results we noted overtime and extra time payments to exempt employees is not sufficiently documented and supported by Distr
Our audit of overtime payments to non exempt employees detected one out of eleven timesheets had a summation error resulting in an overpayme
In addition we noted one non exempt employee was underpaid due to timesheet error. The District is in the process of addressing these errors.

Overtime and Extra time is reviewed and authorized by the Department Supervisor.
The Payroll Manager requests additional verification when extra pay is requested or additional pay is funded outside the assigned department
