a. Test Effectiveness
b. Test Efficiency

Test Effectiveness : No. of Test case generated against the requirements.

No. of Defects found against the number of test cases

Test Efficiency: No. of Test cases executed per engineer hour

No. of Test case generated per engineering hour.

2. You are developing an e-commerce application for the first time. Knowing well that the
same cannot be validated on all the browsers and operation system versions, what will be
measure taken by you in the test plan to provide adequate confidence that the application
would work satisfactorily.
(10 marks)

Test Objective : To test the e-commerce application.

Test scope: Testing for Browser compatibility, Security testing, and performance testing
will be done.
Testing Strategy:
Pl. explain how the Security testing, Browser compatibility and
performance testing will be carried out.

Testing Risk: Risk related to Test environment for security testing and also mention issues
related to performance testing.

3. You are working on a project, where the requirements change dynamically. The data in
the project comes from various ends (from various platforms) and are inter-dependent.
You see this as a big risk in the project. What should you include in the test plan to ensure
that the risks are covered through out the test plan.

that the processing work is the same, what would be the specific tests in Scenario2 that you would
do, which you would not be carried out in scenario 1.
(15 marks)

Scenario2: We have to consider this as Client server application, apart
from functionality testing we need to test the performance and stress
testing.

For management: we need to give No. of rounds of testing.

Types of testing performed in each round.
We have to give the Module level defects with the severity.

7. Suggest any three testing tools for your test Environment and why do you suggest them?

For functionality testing Winrunner,Rational Robot,Silktest
For Perfomance and stress testing:Load runnder.
Mention about the resources both human resource and the Hardware, software resource needed
