ExpressPass, Commercial ExpressPass, and NEXUS/Toll cards will remain operational

LEWISTON, NY Today the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission (NFBC) announced that
implementation of the E-ZPass tolling program will take effect at the Rainbow,
Whirlpool, and Lewiston-Queenston international bridge spans as of August 11, 2014.
The new E-ZPass program will supplement existing ExpressPass, Commercial
ExpressPass, and pre-loaded NEXUS/Toll card offerings currently available to motorists.

After a very successful period of program testing and coordination, the commission is
prepared to launch the E-ZPass program at all of our bridge crossings early next
month, said Niagara Falls Bridge Commission General Manager Lew Holloway. We
expect a smooth introduction of the program and believe this additional tolling feature
will provide yet another convenient tool for motorists.

We are pleased to officially welcome the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission to the
E-ZPass program family and congratulate them on their impending August deployment,
said E-ZPass Interagency Group Executive Director P.J. Wilkins.

Niagara Falls Bridge Commission customersmost specifically those with ExpressPass,
ExpressPass Commercial and NEXUS/Tollare being notified of the availability of the
E-ZPass program through a series of print and online communications, as well as
updated plaza signage and toll booth placards. Upon program implementation,
ExpressPass, ExpressPass Commercial, and NEXUS card holders who already have
E-ZPass will be encouraged to cancel their current ExpressPass, ExpressPass
Commercial and NEXUS/Toll accounts. Future tolls can then be paid through the
existing E-ZPass transponder(s) issued to them for their vehicle(s). Those ExpressPass
and NEXUS/Toll customers that do not have E-ZPass can continue to use their
ExpressPass and NEXUS cards. Whirlpool-Rapids Bridge security access will continue to
require a NEXUS card.

Non-Commercial autos with ExpressPass, NEXUS/Toll and E-ZPass tags are eligible to
receive a toll discount at all NFBC crossings. Motorists may purchase E-ZPass tags by
visiting www.niagarafallsbridges.com, and clicking on the electronic toll tab.

About the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission:
A Joint Resolution of the 1938 U.S. Congressional Third Session created the Niagara
Falls Bridge Commission. The Extra Provincial Corporations Act of the Province of
Ontario, Canada licenses the NFBC. Canada and the U.S. are equally represented on
the NFBC by an eight-member Board of Commissioners. Initially established to finance,
construct and operate the Rainbow Bridge, the Commission proved sufficiently efficient
and effective to assume responsibilities for the Whirlpool Rapids (Lower) and Lewiston-
Queenston Bridges. The NFBC builds and maintains all facilities for Customs and
Immigration functions on both sides of the international border. The NFBC is self-
supportive, largely through user fees (tolls) and private-sector tenant leases. NFBC is
federally chartered to conduct international commercial financial transactions and issue
federal (U.S.) tax-exempt bonds.
