At a glance: Engineering contracts awarded in July 2013 in the oil, gas and
petrochemical sectors
Research from Sarwarzad Energy Ltd reveals that $10.415 billion worth of disclosed engineering contracts
were awarded across the oil, gas and petrochemical sector. Further, several billion dollars worth of contracts
were awarded whereby the operator/producer or engineering contractor did not disclose the value of the con-
tract.
The largest single contract was for a $3.5 billion FPSO order in Brazil. The region with the most active contract
progression was the downstream sector of North America and the Middle East.
