in conjunction with the OS harmonization team
Implemented the In Service Software Upgrade project for IPv6 ND team and also
worked on scalability aspect of the project using tools like Kcachegrind for
supporting 1 million entries.
Improved performance of the MFIB component for supporting 128k Interfaces by
handling the notifications directly on the Line Card instead of using Bulk Content
Download.
Implemented the support for IPv4/IPv6 Multicast over a unicast GRE tunnel which
can be used for sending encrypted packets over a MVPN core.

Spaceway Satellite System
Implement embedded code for the terminal as well as for the gateway running the
VxWorks operating system.

General duties included preventive maintenance, performance enhancements,
developing User Interface, testing releases, writing scripts to monitor the system.

Spaceway System Integration
Lead the testing and integration of dynamic attach protocol. Implemented utilities in
C to test the protocol, wrote test plans and scripts to automate the testing.
Lead the testing for the Dual-port Terminal, after addition of one more Ethernet
port on the terminal.
Configuring protocols like RIP, RIPng and VRRP, Vlans on Cisco routers and switches.
General duties included setting up test beds, configuring Cisco routers and switches,
writing utilities using Perl and Shell scripts to automate testing.

Clemson University

Developed a Device Driver for 3DLabs Permedia2 Graphics card and provided for
DMA and implemented custom interrupt handler; custom system calls; developed in
C in Linux Kernel 2.6.12.3.
Successfully implemented a new transport layer protocol COP (connection oriented
protocol) for Linux kernel 2.4.25. The new protocol incorporated the best of both
TCP and UDP protocols.
Developed an XSimpleFig System using C++ implementing the Iterator, Observer
and the Decorator pattern as an interactive shape drawing system in UNIX.
Developed a distributed peer-to-peer consensus application using Java, Java-Thread
interface, Java AWT.
