Ministry now if it were not for the

sacrificial giving of time, energy,

money and material resources of the
Chalcedon congregation. I have seen
sacrifice to the point of tears on the part
of the workern in this ministry.
I believe that our Crisis Pregnancy
Ministry grows out of and is sustained
by our belief in a sovereign God, Who
will ask us to give account of our
ilt1inn to stop what must be the most
heinous sin of our time. I highly
recommend this work to all of you. Be
assured, there is a place in pro-life work
for you. For those of you in pro-life
work already as well as newcomers, I
encourage you to work in such a way as
to come in contact with girls and
women who are considering abortion as
well as abortionists. In doing this you
will see, as I have seen, there can be no
end of this struggle until there are no
more abortionists in this land.

J '?e M?recraft & Santa Claus Among those
Prcketlng Chamblee Abortion Clinic the
Saturday Before Christmas
Among those picketing Dr. Gay's
abortion clinic in Chamblee, Georgia
on a very cold December 20th, the
Saturday before Christmas, were Joe
Morecraft, pastor of the Chalcedon
Presbyterian Church, and .......... Santa
Claus! Mr. Morecraft and a number of
other Chalcedon members, along with
pro-lifers from several other churches,
marched on the sidewalk in front of the
clinic for an hour and a half or so.
Just as he had done the previous week,
Dr. Gay turned on his newly installed
sprinkler system just after the picketers
began marching. The water sprayed
heavily across the sidewalk, preventing
anyone from walking on the sidewalk.
When the picketers moved out into the
street to escape the water, police rein-
forcements were called. Three police
cars arrived and the pro-lifers were told
they had to get out of the street. While
Dr. Gay was convinced to turn off the
sprinklers, the police claim there is no
ordinance preventing someone from
pointing water sprinklers across a side-
walk! No doubt there will be further
encounters regarding these sprinklers.
During the picket who should arrive
but Santa Claus! It turned out to be
John Snuggs, of the Dunwoody Com-
munity Church, who is one of the most
faithful pro-life activists in Atlanta. He
had just returned from Midtown Hos-
pital in Atlanta, where he had talked a
woman out of aborting her baby. D
