Rudraksha is the eternal symbol of the first civilization
in which Tantra was the great style of living. All Agamas and Nigamas praise
Rudraksha as the Papahara (avoiding sins) and energising agents in all manners.
According to Tantra, Rudrakshas are considered as Deities of the Almighty in
different forms. Mantras and ritual for each faceted Rudrakshas are also seen in
Tantras.
In Yoga, Rudrakshas are the mighty representatives of Shadadhara Chakras and
power supplements to Ashtanga Sadhana. As the power packed miniatures of
planets and stars, Rudrakshas are adorable in Astrology.
Rudrakshas are enormously preferred in Astro-solutions for many dilemmas and
diseases. In the mother of medications, Ayurveda, Rudraksha is the chief ingredient
in many medicines. It is considered as the divine healing agent in medicines apart
from its medicinal values.
Rudraksha (also Rudraksh in Sanskrit) means Rudras eyes or literally Shivas
eyes, is a large evergreen broad-leaved tree whose seeds show variation in the
number of grooves on their surface, and are classified on the basis of the number of
divisions that they have. Different qualities are attributed to the rudraksha based on
the number of grooves, or faces (mukhis) that it has. Rudraksha, fruit and flower,
is considered to contain centralized power of Lord Shiva. Originated from the eyes




of Lord Shiva, Rdraksha is regarded to be the Lord Himself. One Hindu legend
says that once Lord Shiva opened His eyes after a long period yogic meditation,
because of extreme fulfillment, and out of compassion he shed out a tear. This
single tear from Shivas eye grew into the Rudraksha tree.
It is established that when Rudraksha is worn on the head, it relieves one of mental
tension and gives peace of mind.


Rudraksha also has its effect on the human system and hence being worn on the
arms, chest for health as well religious sentiments. These beads are very powerful
ones to cure many physical and emotional disorders.
Rudraksha mala should be worn so close, that it should touch the heart. It is
observed that its wearer can never fall prey to a sudden heart attack, or brain
hemorrhage. The patient of blood pressure is advised to keep the five faced
Rudraksha in water filled in a glass vessel throughout the night and should drink it
as soon as he gets up in the morning. By doing so the person would have normal
Blood pressure. The children, who are mostly sick with fever, should wear three
faced Rudraksha.






In Vedic Puranas, Upanishads and Srimad Bhagawatham there are several
references of Rudraksha being the most powerful aid for a successful and
enlightened life. There are specific references to 1 mukhi to 21 mukhis, each
capable of aligning the positive energies around us towards aspects of health,
happiness, spiritual fulfillment, prosperity and self empowerment.
Rudraksha beads emit a frequency that balances chakras of human body as well as
attune to frequencies of different planets and divine energies and attract good luck
and positivity.
There are three types of magnetic energies in Rudrakshas that are diamagnetic,
paramagnetic and ferromagnetic, depending upon the size and source of them.
Diamagnetism is due to organic compounds with non-polar bonds in which the
molecules or radicals have no magnetic moment or the paramagnetic effect is
suppressed by the diamagnetic effect. The paramagnetic properties are due to
conduction electrons in alkaline metals. Ferromagnetism may be due to presence of
Iron or their compounds.
In the reign of modern science, Rudraksha and its greatness has been acclaimed
undoubtedly. Many universities and great scientists who conducted scientific



studies on Rudraksha, declared its values with technical logic. Various Literature
mentions of the powerful Anti Ageing properties of Rudraksha beads. This is
mainly because of the Dynamic Polarity of the Rudraksha, since the the healing
powers of Rudraksha are far superior to that of Magnets. Scientific research proved
that Rudraksha bead consists of Magnetic, Electric Inductive properties.
Depending on the polarity and intensity of this induced magnetic field, Rudraksha
beads transmits electrical and inductive impulses with opposing polarity and
intensity. In some sense Rudraksha beads can be termed to have some additional
life or intelligence as against magnets.
As the modern physics and allied sciences approved, electro -magnetic energy or
prana exists everywhere in the kinetic form, this energy can be found static in very
rare materials also. Those objects are live in its core but found idle. Rudraksha
belongs to this very rare class, which is made of carbon in a large amount. Human
body is also constructed with carbon and calcium. Even if Rudraksha is a non-
conductor, it supplies this mighty electro-magnetic power to the wearers body
needs. While passing the electro -magnetic energy to the human body, Rudraksha
absorbs the toxins and toxic energies from the body respectively.
In short Rudraksha is a scientifically approved cleansing and energising agent to
the wearers body. These wonder beads uniquely formed by nature, has many
secrets yet to be revealed.
Rudraksha is regarded as medicine in Ayurveda. It is used not only to wear on
different parts of the body, but it can also be used as oral medicine. It is the
destroyer of worms and it gives brilliancy to the body. It pacifies Vaat (air), Pitta
(bile) and cough automatically. It is also useful for women in pregnancy.
Rudraksha paste is a good medicine for skin diseases, and effective for leprosy,
and to cure sores, ringworm, pimples, boils and it is useful in burns also.
Rudraksha tree grows on mountains and hilly region of Nepal, Indonesia, Java,



Sumatra and Myanmar. Its leaves are green in colour and the fruits are brown in
color and sour in taste.

One single tree can produce hundreds of intensely blue fruits. Inside these fruits
are seeds that can bear all of the mukhi ridge patterns, from 1-mukhi to 30+-
mukhis in between.
Rudrakshamalas have been used by Hindus and Buddhists as
rosaries at least from the 10th century for meditation purposes and to sanctify the
mind, body and soul
As per details found in the Purana there are fourteen kinds of Rudraksha, which are
called Mukhi or faceted Rudraksha. Mukhi or faces of Rudraksha are deep lines
found on the surface of the Rudraksha from bottom to the top hole. The number of
these lines decides about the type or MukhiRudraksha. Other handwritten
Scriptures found with various saints narrate the properties of 1 to 21
MukhiRudraksha.



Unlike crystalline jewels, which are rendered ineffective by puncturing,
Rrudraksha are not considered to be harmed by drilling a hole through their center
in order to string them into a mala of all the mukhi ridge patterns, from 1-mukhi.
When matched to the astrological nativity, rudraksha ridge-counts can be assigned
to alleviate the effects of unfavorable planets:
Every Rudraksha has cells or Mukhis which differ in numbers. A facet is a line or
groove which runs from one end to of Rudraksha to the other end. In ancient epics
like Shiv Purana, Shrimad Devi Bhagwatam, Padmapurana, Rudrakshas up to 14
Mukhis have been described along with their effects and purpose, for which they
are useful. High Mukhi Rudraksha from 15 to 27 also find references in Vedic
texts. There are other Rudraksha like Gauri Shankar (two Rudraksha having
naturally joined on the tree), Ganesha (a Rudraksha having trunk like protrusion on
its body) Sawar (a Gauri Shankar in which one bead has only one line or Mukhi),
Trijuti (three) Rudraksha beads joined naturally on the tree, are being catagorised.
In general, astrologers use to suggest gems to the native to overcome the
tribulations caused by the malefic planets or to enhance the positive results given





by the benefic planet. But it is often seen, that a particular gem doesn't suit the
native and starts giving tribulations. But as the Rudrakshas are believed to be
always beneficial, it can be used for both kinds of planets, may it be benefic or
malefic.
Rudrakasha beads have several amazing powers due to their electromagnetic
character. This Electromagnetic character empowers the bead to cure the human
body medically as well as spiritually.
The human body can be considered as a complex Bio Electronic Circuit consisting
of the whole of Nervous System and all other organs residing inside the human
body. Numbers of Electrical impulses are generated by the human body due to
different reflex actions taking place, continuous pumping of heart for blood
circulation, neurons and nervous system etc. The ability to send out subtle
electrical impulses and Inductive vibrations act as a dielectric as in a capacitor to
store electrical energy. This is termed as Bioelectricity. All the work of our sense
organs depends on the subtle flow of Bioelectricity current. Thus all the actions
that our body performs are effectively controlled. The Bioelectric current is
produced due to the difference in the energy levels of different body parts. This
smooth flow of Bioelectric current causes the properly controlled functioning of
the body parts. There is a third element in the Body and Brain called the Bio
Electronic circuit Interface, that of the mind.
Any activity that can produce stress or maladjustment can throw the streamlined
activity, the Electronic circuit of the Body and mind out of gear. Human beings
and all living beings are prone to stress continuously in the continuous fight for
survival and prosperity.
In modern age with intense competition the stress levels have increased
tremendously. Almost every individual has problems of stress and stress related
ailments like insomnia, alcoholism, depression, maladjustments, heart diseases,
skin diseases etc. Any Doctor will confirm that almost 95% of the ailments are



Psychosomatic or stress related, originating from mind. When there is stress or
maladjustment corresponding stress signals are sent to the Central Nervous
systems, there is an increased activity or abnormal Neurons and Neuro
transmitters. The magnitude of change will depend on the cause and specific case.
When such a thing occurs and it occurs continuously, streamlined flow of electrical
signals throughout the Mind-Body interface is disrupted and it makes us feel
uncomfortable and we are not able to act with our full efficiency. Our blood
circulation becomes non-ideal and we feel various illnesses. Unfortunately this
happens all the time. Rudraksha beads act as a Stabilizing Anchor. Rudraksha
beads' electrical property can be broadly categorized into: Resistance: There is
continuous and subtle flow of bioelectrical signal throughout the body due to
potential difference between parts of the Body. Rudraksha beads of particular
Mukhis or Facets have a definitive Factor of Resistance. It is measured in Ohms.
When these beads resist the flow of bioelectrical impulses a specific ampere of
current flow is generated depending on the factor of resistance. This acts in tandem
with heartbeat, streamlining it and sending out specific impulses to brain. These
impulses stimulate certain positive brain chemicals. Making us feel better, more
confident, poised and more energetic. It has been observed that specific Mukhis or
facets of Rudraksha beads send out specific signals acting on a particular brain
chemical and thereby by effecting specific positive changes in personality
The basic way of healing is based on the fact that when the passage of arteries and
veins which carry blood to and from Heart to all the parts of the body is blocked or
reduced due to variety of reasons, various illnesses creep. Blood carries oxygen
and energy to various parts of the body and cleanses it off waste materials. Any
disruption of the smooth flow of blood circulation is bound to cause illnesses.
We experience pain and uneasiness due to improper blood circulation. Every cell
in the blood as well as the arteries and veins are charged either positively or
negatively. Magnets have the poles Positive (+) and Negative (-).
When magnets are passed on various parts of the body the opposite poles of the
magnets and that of cells get attracted and there is an expansion of the passage.





The Arteries and veins open up to facilitate streamlined blood circulation. When
there is a streamlining of blood circulation most of the illnesses get automatically
healed and we feel better and rejuvenated.
But with magnets the polarity is fixed. When magnets are brought near a particular
part of the body it opens up only those sections of veins and arteries where there is
a matching of polarities hence complete healing and streamlining of blood
circulation cannot be ensured. We experience healing and feel better but we can
still go much further with Dynamic Polarity of Rudraksha beads.
Rudraksha has the ability to Change its polarity-The property of Dynamic Polarity.
This in turn is by virtue of its property, Die-magnetism. Die-magnetism is termed
as the ability of any material to acquire temporary magnetic property in presence of
an external magnetic field. The polarity of the charge induced is opposite to that of
the external field inducing the charge. Blood circulation and heart beat
automatically induces a magnetic field around the body and particularly the heart
Region. Bio-electricity automatically gives raise to Bio-magnetism Depending on
the polarity of the Induced magnetic field. Rudraksha bead acquires a polarity that
is opposite of the inducing field. As a result of this the opening up the passages of
Arteries and Veins are far better than that of magnets. Much better healing and
rejuvenation is experienced.
Astrologically each Mukhi Rudraksha is associated with the particular planet.
1 and 12 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Sun.
2 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Moon.
3 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Mars.
4 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Mercury.
5 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Jupiter.
6 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Venus.
7 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Saturn.
8 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Rahu.
9 faced (Mukhi) Rudraksha is related to planet Ketu




Gauri Shankar Rudraksha
Very powerful form of rudraksha to be placed at auspicious place of daily worship,
for all round progress and prosperity. It removes all hindrances being faced in
marriage negotiation of aspiring boys and girls. Also helpful to maintain harmony
in married life. This is rarely available.
Trijugi Rudraksha
In a very natural form three rudrakshas are linked together and rarely found. It
represents Lord Shiva, Parvati and Ganesh placed as one entity. Person who
possesses it receives blessings of long lasting prosperity, honor, respect, pleasure
and happiness.
Ganesh Rudraksha
Rudraksha having trumpet naturally linked with, represents Lord Ganesha.
Worshiping it brings health, wealth, prosperity in abundance.






Among all the Rudraksha each type of Rudraksha possesses Medical Properties
which is explained as:
One Mukhi Rudraksha works as a medicine for diseases like heart problems,
mental anxiety, TB, paralysis, stroke, eye problem, bone pain, head ache.
Two Mukhi Rudraksha works unbelievably for the treatment of diseases like
chronic asthma, impotency, renal failure, stress, anxiety, lack of concentration,
depression, negative thinking, eye problems, mental chaos, hysteria, intestinal
disorder.
Three Mukhi Rudraksha is the best medicine for diseases like depression,
Schizophrenia, weakness multifarious, directive of the menstrual cycle/menstrual
stress, fixation or guilt induced complexes, blood pressure, mood swings, fever or
weakness, jaundice, and mental disability .
Four Mukhi Rudraksha gives medical treatments for diseases as blood circulation,
cough, and brain linked illness, asthma, hesitate, memory lapse, respiratory strip
problems .
Five Mukhi Rudraksha is a benefit medical treatment for the blood pressure, heart
problems, stress, mental disability, anger management, diabetics, piles, neurotic
and maladjustment problems.
Six Mukhi Rudraksha treat the diseases like epilepsy, gynecological problems.
Extremely the Seven Mukhi Rudraksha is more valuable for treating diseases like
asthma, pharyngitis, impotency, foot related diseases, respiratory confusion, pains
and aches .
Eight Mukhi Rudraksha treat diseases like stomach ache, stress, skin diseases,
anxiety .



Nine Mukhi Rudraksha works as a mysterious medical medicine for treating
strange diseases.
Ten Mukhi Rudraksha works as a medical sanction for medicinal diseases like
hormonal inequality in the body, mental insecurity, whooping cough.

miscarriage, still birth etc. Fifteen mukhi Rudraksha is measured as a blessing for
women who are incapable to imagine and in such case both the partner should
wear it for fruitfulness.
Sixteen Mukhi Rudraksha is used for curing the diseases like leprosy, tuberculosis,
lung diseases.
Seventeen Mukhi Rudraksha is best for the treating diseases like memory lapse,
body functional disorders .
Eighteen Mukhi Rudraksha is best for prevent and curing diseases like mental in
harmonization, loss of power.
Nineteen Mukhi Rudraksha eradicate the diseases like blood disorder, spinal
disorder.




Twenty Mukhi Rudraksha is used as medical cure for eyesight problem and snake
bites.
Only Twenty One Mukhi Rudraksha has deep-rooted medical healing and it
eliminates every form of diseases.

Gauri Shanker Rudraksha is used for the treatment of diseases like sexual
problems, behavioral disorders .
