(The Prostration)

1. Alif Lam Mim.

ر
َ ْب َ َر
ِ ََِِْ ُ ا
2. (This is) the revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt, -- from the Lord of the Worlds.
!ُ ن اَْ"َا
َ $ُ$ُ%َ َْأم
3. Or do they say, "He has forged it"?
(
َ ) ِ

* َ,ْ ا$َ ُ)َْ ه
Nay, it is the Truth from the Lord,
٣ ن
َ ُو/َْ0َ ُْ0

َ ِ1ْ2َ3 "ٍ ِ5
ًْ
َأَهُ ﻥ$َ3 َر5ِ ُِ
that thou mayest admonish a people to whom no warner has come before thee:
in order that they may receive guidance.

ِ ْ"َْ اCَ1َD َى$َُْ
اﺱF
and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority):

َ آ
"ُو5َ ََ َ1ََأ
will ye not then receive admonition?
ض
ِ َْر9ْ اCَ ا;
َء ِإ
َ ِ "َ َْ9ْ) ُ" ا/َ ُ
5. He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth:

َ *و/َُ
>ٍ ََ ﺱP
َ َْا ُر ُ! َأ/ْ%ِ ن
َ َْ ٍم آ$َ @ِ ِ َْج ِإ
ُ "ُ َْ
ُF
in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand
years of your reckoning.

ِ َ;ِﻥZْ ا+
َ ْ1َ< َأ/َ َ)َو
He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay,

ٍ ِ0
ََ ٍ>
ء1َُ ُ ِ ﺱ1ْ;َُ
\ََ َ ﻥF
8. And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised:

َ ُْ"ُوSَ
ً1ِ1َ3
little thanks do ye give!
/ٍ ِ/َ\ +
ٍ ْ1َ< @ِIَ
ِض َأﺉ
ِ َْر9َْْ ِ@ ا1َ1َc َا5ِا َأﺉ$َُ3َو
10. And they say: "What! when we lie, hidden and lost, in the earth, shall we indeed be in a
creation renewed?"
١٠ ن
َ ِْ آَِ"ُو0)َء َر%ِ1ِ) ُ)َْ ه
Nay, they deny the meeting with their Lord!
١١ ن
َ $َُ\ْ"ُ ُْ) َرCَُ
ِإF
then shall ye be brought back to your Lord."

َ $ُِ3$ُ
ً ِإﻥ,ََِر)
َ َأ)ْ`َ"ْﻥَ َوﺱََِْ َرْ\َِْ ﻥََْْ ﺹ
(saying:)
"Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard:
now then send us back (to the world):
we will work righteousness:
for we do indeed (now) believe."

ٍ ْIَََْ آُ
ﻥiَ َْ_ِJ ْ$ََو
13. If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance:

ِ
ِ
ِ> وَاfْ ا
َ ِ َ
َ0َ\ ن
َ9َ1َْ9َ @ِ ْ ُل$َ%ْ ا+
ََوَِْ ﺡ
but the Word from Me will come true.
"I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together."
َُْا ِإﻥ
ﻥَ;َِآ5َُِْْ ه$َ َء%ِ ُِْ;َا )َِ ﻥ$ُ3ُو5َ
14. "Taste ye then -- for ye forgot the meeting of this day of yours,
and We too will forget you --

َ $ُ1ََْ ُُْ )َِ آ/ِ ْ1ُlْب ا
َ َا5َD ا$ُ3َوذُو
taste ye the Penalty of Eternity for your (evil) deeds!"
ًا/
fَُ <َ"*وا ﺱ0ِ) ِإذَا ُذآ"ُوا
َ ِ5
ََِ اiِ)
ُ ِْmُ َ
ِإﻥ
15. Only those believe in Our Signs who, when they are recited to them, fall down in adoration,

َ ِ"ُو2َْْ;َ َ َُْوه
nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride.
Hِ ِ\َnَْ ا
ِ َD ُْ0ُ)$ُُ\ Cََfََ
16. Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep,
١٦ ن
َ $ُ%ِIُ َُْْه3َوِ
َر َز
and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them.
ٍ ُْDُ
" ِة َأ3 ُ0َ @
َ ِIْ<ٌ
ُأhْIََ ُ ﻥ1َْ َ1َ
17. Now no person knows what delights of the eye are kept hidden (in reserve) for them --
١٧ ن
َ $ُ1ََْ ا$ُ\ََاء )َِ آَﻥ
as a reward for their (good) Deeds.

َ ًَِْ آََ آmُ ن
َ ََأََ آ
18. Is then the man who believes no better than the man who is rebellious and wicked?
١٨ ن
َ ُو$َْ;َ
No equal are they.
ْوَى9َْت ا
ُ
َ\ ُْ0َ1َ ت
ِ َ,ِ
`ا ا$ُ1َِDَا و$َُq
َ ِ5
َأ
ا
19. For those who believe and do righteous deeds, are Gardens as hospitable homes,
١٩ ن
َ $ُ1ََْ ا$ُﻥُ ًُ )َِ آَﻥ
for their (good) deeds.
ْوَاهُ ُ ا
ُر9ََ ا$ُ%َ;َ
َ ِ5
َوَأ
ا
20. As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire:

َ $ُ)5 َُ ِ ِ) ُُِي آ5
ب ا
ِر ا
َ َا5َD ا$ُ3ُْ ذُو0َ َ ِ3َو
and it will be said to them:
"Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."
"ِ َ2َْآ9ْب ا
ِ َا5َْن ا
َ دُوCََدْﻥ9ْب ا
ِ َا5َْ ا
َ ِ ُْ0
َ%ِ5ََُو
21. And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty,

َ $ُِ\ْ"َ ُْ0
1ََ
in order that they may (repent and) return.
َ0َْD ض
َ "َ ْDُ
َأF ِ )ت َر
ِ َiِ) "َ َ ُ ِ
ُذآ1ْrَوَْ َأ
22. And who does more wrong than one to whom are recited the Signs of his Lord, and who then
turns away therefrom?
٢٢ ن
َ $ُِ%َُ
َ ِ"ِ ْfُْ ا
َ ِ
ِإﻥ
Verily from those who transgress We shall exact (Due) Retribution.
٢٥ ن
َ $ُIِ1َْlَ ِ ِ ا$ََُِ ِ> َِ آَﻥ%ْْ َم ا$َ ُْ0ََْ) ُ ِ`ْIَ $َ ُ( ه

)ن َر
ِإ
25. Verily thy Lord will judge between them on the Day of Judgement, in the matters wherein they
differ (among themselves).

ِ ُ"ُو%ْ ا
َ ِ0ِ1ْ2َ3 ِ ََْ1ُْْ آَْ َأه0َ /ِ ْ0َ ََْأ َو
26. Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We destroyed before them,
ت

َ ِن ِ@ َذ
ِإ
Verily in that are Signs:
٢٦ ن
َ $َُْ;َ َ1ََأ
do they not then listen?
ُ ُ" ِزfْض ا
ِ َْر9ْ اCَق اَْء ِإ
ُ $ُ;ََأ َوَْ َ َ"وْا َأﻥ
ﻥ
27. And do they not see that We do drive Rain to parched soil (bare of herbage),

َ ْ`ِ"ُو2ُ َ1ََأ
Have they not the vision?
٢٨
َ ِ3 إِن آُُْ ﺹَ ِدt
ُ َْIَْا ا5َ هCََ ن
َ $ُ$ُ%ََو
28. They say: "When will this decision be, if ye are telling the truth?"

َ َ"ُوuُ ُُْْ َوَ ه0َُ"ُوا إَِﻥIَ آ
َ ِ5
اHُ َIَ َ t
ِ َْIْْ َم ا$َ ُْ3
29. Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! Nor will
they be granted a respite."

َ ِ"ُوuَ* ُ0
ِ"ْ ِإﻥuَُْ وَاﻥ0َْD ْْ ِ"ضDَ9َ
30. So turn away from them, and wait: they too are waiting.
