TITLE: THE EFFECTS OF SOCIAL NETWORKING

SPECIFIC PURPOSE: To inform the audience about the negative effects of social
networking
CENTRAL IDEA: There are five reasons why teenagers interest to social
networking. It also have a lot affects of social networking. There are less studying,
trolling, online bullying, teen vulnerable online and social life.

Assalamualaikum and very good evening to all my lovely friends and madam
Nor Farizah. Today ,I am Zulfadly b. Zulkefli and my friends Muhamad Hafiz
b.MD Johari,Muhammad Zahir b. Rosman and Muhammad Ashraf b. Mat
Supi From Jebat Derhaka will present a presentation about The Effects of
Social Networking to Teenagers.
Teenager is familiar with social networking. A social networking is important to
their life to find a new friend but it may causes a lot of effect to teenager if they
misused it. For Huzaimi, he is familiar with social networking. A social
networking is important to his life because he wants to connect with old friend
and find a new girlfriend for future but he does not know the negative effects
of social networking. They are teens vulnerable online, less studying, social
life, online bullying and trolling.

The effect are:
1. Less studying
From primary school to college students frequently accessed to
facebook at least once during a 15 minutes study period for a good
future.
For example:
Anwar always surf the internet until ignore to study and dont
have a time to do a revision as a student.

2. Online bullying
Online bullying also called cyber bullying, is a relatively common
occurrence and it can often result in emotional trauma for the victim.
Depending on the networking outlet, up to 39 percent of users admit to
being cyber-bullied.
For example:
During the social networking Amir always give out a harsh
word to his friends until make his friend angry with him.
3. Trolling
Trolling is one of the common actions misused from social networking
sites such as facebook. It is occasionally used as a tool to emotionally
abuse another individual or party involved.
Trolling can occur in many different forms such as(but not limited to)
defacement of deceased persons tribute pages, name calling, playing
online pranks on volatile individuals and controversial comments with
the intention to cause anger and cause arguments.
For example:
When chatting a facebook or twitter with a friend, Huzaimi
always trolling towards to his friend that make he is hated by
friend.
4. Teen vulnerable online
Teen who are on social network can be vulnerable. You surely know by
know that there are predators on the internet who dont have good
intention. Your parents may help to monitor your social network use,
especially if you are young teen, in order to keep your safe.
For example:
Fakhrul known as a teen vulnerable online because usually he
will make an online contact with other people or strangers
through facebook, twitter and chat rooms which will lead
unhealthy relationship and use it for his own benefit.


5. Social life
It is the responsibility of parents to teach their wards the safe use of
social networking websites. If children are not made aware on the safe
use of the internet, it leaves them vulnerable to dangerous things like
cyber bullying and viral video.
For example:
Haris parents always monitor him to surfing internet because
for fear descend into social networking that may causes an
effects to him.

Conclusion
Conclusion of the effect of social networking are less studying, trolling, online
bullying, social life and teens vulnerable online is parents have to give more
intention to their children not to fall in the social networking. Friend also needs
a responsibility to guide their friends to study and do some homework as a
student.
