Lesson Objective (s) : By the end of the lesson pupils will be able to write at least 3 out of 4 correct form of the nouns.
Activities :
1. Teacher to start lesson by explaining in simple terms the words 'singular' and 'plural'.
2. Demonstrate meanings by using pupils, e.g. one boy, two boys, one girl, two girls. Can they hear
thes at the end of these words?
3. Show the small card (A4 pdf) of letter 's' and explain that we need to put this at the end of words
to show more than one.
4. Teacher calls out simple words and ask pupils to write the plural of that word on their individual
whiteboards.
5. Pupils attempt the task given in activity book on page 14.

1. Recall the story of Felix Fox and Freddie Frog.
2. Distribute mask templates of a frog and a fox.
3. Pupils colour the masks.
4. Put up the chant.
5. Read and pupils follow.
6. Pupils practise the chant.
7. Pupils practise with actions wearing their masks.
8. Pupils perform the chant.

i) chant with correct pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.
ii) Design a poster of rules for the classroom.
Activities :
1. Refer to the chant.
2. Chant once, pupils listen.
3. Draw the attention of the pupils to the pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.
4. Encourage the pupils to chant with body percussion or actions.
5. Half the class chants while the other half uses non-verbal gestures.
6. Ask the pupils to design a poster of rules of the classroom.
