Class Descriptons
Orientaton
Take this class before taking any others . This class teach-
es you the basics that you need. for the other classes take
it once and then take the rest!

Athletc
Classes are designed to conditon athletes from any sport
to improve speed, vertcal jump, explosiveness, athletc
conditoning, and core strength. Athletes ages 10 & up
through to professionals will beneft from this training.
This class is considered "of-season" conditoning, so it
should be done at a tme of year when the individual can
atend 2-3 tmes a week to achieve the best results. The
class atmosphere allows athletes to train up to their po-
tental with other like-minded individuals. Jump Stretch
Athletc Training Classes last one hour and are held 6 days
a week, with diferent tmes to choose from. The intensity
level of this class is high, and there will be a jumping com-
ponent. A one-tme Orientaton Class is required for new
members before partcipatng in this class.


Stretch and tone/ Stretch / Fit
Our FlexBand Fitness Class is designed to meet the needs
of adults who want to feel beter, maintain their weight,
lower blood pressure, and stay actve. It also works for
individuals who partcipate in recreatonal sports or who
have actve lifestyles and jobs. Individuals need to be able
to get on and of the foor to partcipate in this class, be-
cause the stretching routne is done on the foor. This
class starts of with stretching, including shoulder and low
-back stretches that aren't generally done in the Athletc
Classes.
The rest of the class utlizes FlexBands for various drills in
a circuit fashion to work the lower body, upper body, and
core.

Intensity level is low to moderate. A one-tme Orientaton
Class is required for new members before partcipatng in
this class.

Mix Fit
This class is an athletc workout for the non athlete. If you
want an intense workout and don't play sports this is the
place for you!

Meet our Trainer!!

Carl LaRosa received his bachelor's degree in
ftness management and exercise science form
Youngstown State University. He is also an
America Council of Exercise (A.C.E.) certfed
personal trainer. An accomplished athlete,
Carl has competed in natural bodybuilding and
powerlifing compettons on the natonal lev-
el.

Professionally, Carl started his career working
with chronic and Acute Pain Management. He
went on to manage the Jump Stretch Fitness
Center in Youngstown, Ohio for over 15 years,
where he designed and implemented the
Jump Stretch Certfcaton Program for
training the trainers in the FlexBand tech-
niques. Most recently, Carl has operated Flex
Performance and Training in North Lima,
Ohio.

Carl is the son-in-law of Flexband inventor
Dick Hartzell and has worked with thousands
of athletes in various sports over the years.
Highlights include working with John Simon
(OSU, Baltmore Ravens); Mark Malaska
(Boston Red Sox); Allen Houston (NY Knicks);
Ishmaeli Kitchen (Cleveland Browns); and Brad
Smith (NYJets, Bufalo Bills). He has worked
closely with athletes from Youngstown state
University and the University of Mount Union
for their of season conditoning. Carl has also
worked with military personnel, including the
Navy Seals at Virginia Beach and the US Army
at Ft. Bragg.

Carl specializes in group/team conditoning,
and is also available for personal training.
