Legal Status: The BWBA is a Registered & Recognized Association from Directorate of
Industries and Commerces Quetta Balochistan with Registration No: 2087 dated 20
th
June
2014. The BWBA has been established and active since 08/03/2014

Mission: The mission of the Balochistan Women Business Association is to identify potential
businesswomen and budding entrepreneurs in the province to support them in their trade and
business through providing entrepreneurship and capacity enhancement opportunities in the
course of potential sources to help themselves personally and professionally through
leadership, education, networking, lobbying, mentoring, networking, strategic alliances
support, and national mainstreaming and recognition with distinctive role in national economic
arena.

Values: BWBA subscribes to the following values: Professionalism, Integrity, Empathy,
Accountability, Commitment, Success, Respect and Passion.

Scope of Services/jurisdictions: The Scope of services shall cover all social and
development sectors mentioned highlighted in objectives of this constitution within the
jurisdiction of Balochistan, Pakistan and beyond.




Vision: An enabling platform for the inspiration and empowerment of women in business &
trades.

Introduction of BWBA
Message of the President
Although, it took us several years to establish the pioneer
Balochistan Women Business Association (BWBA) with a vision
to provide an enabling and united platform for the inspiration and
empowerment of women in business & trades. BWBA will create
connections on multiple dimensions for women both in personal,
professional and business - throughout their career to grow their
businesses not only to reduce poverty from Pakistan but also to
strengthen the economic growth of country. Therefore, we look
forward to the women of Balochistan to utilize BWBA for inspiring
change and economic growth to gain realistic empowerment for,
of and by themselves.

Objectives;
1. To identifying and organize women into membership-based trade unions, cooperatives,
forums and groups through the plate form of BWBA.
2. To provide development, training, and marketing efforts for women-run businesses, with
a special focus on small and medium enterprises.
3. To assess women in finding market linkages for production of their products both
domestically and abroad.
4. To take practical steps as association for promoting the interest of trade, industry and
business services for, of and by the women in Pakistan or outside Pakistan.
5. To lobby for public policy through advocacy and the enactment of women-friendly
national rules and regulations.
6. To coordinate and partner with Government to support girls education, thus enhancing
the social position of women and inspiring other women to enter the entrepreneurial field.
7. To support women entrepreneurs by facilitating loan acquisition through engaging
banking institutions and utilizing government and non-government schemes, facilities etc.
8. To advocate and attempt to adopt unified approach for an equitable legal environment for
businesswomen and members, including inheritance laws and policies as well as political
and business quotas in particular.
9. To promote the rights of understanding and unanimity among business and industrialists
women in and outside Balochistan/Pakistan on all subjects involving their common good
and to safeguard the general mercantile interests so that it bridge the gap between urban
and rural areas.
10. To advocate, publicize and take all steps in the interest of the BWBA for the protection of
the interest of the businesswomen and members of Balochistan to consider, recommend
and support all actions directed towards improvements in the conditions of
entrepreneurships, business and trade.
11. To support, promote, advocate and directly to promote business, trade commerce and
industry of women and to watch over and protect the general industrial and commercial
interests engage or directly affecting women in Balochistan.
12. To ensure social security provisions for women, including access to health care,
childcare, insurance, housing, and old age benefits.
13. To accept any requests, contributions, donation or subscription towards or to accumulate
and provide funds or endowments or Waqf and to invest the same and apply the income
arising there from or to resort to the capital there of to achieve any objectives of BWBA.
14. To accept deposits of money or goods, sponsorship from private/public sector for the
support of any objects of BWBA as may be deemed fit for its aims achievements.
15. To subscribe to become and remain the member of federations, chambers, business and
trade groups, authorities, forums, members, affiliated entity or partner of Government
and non-Government organizations, local municipal authorities, foundations, trusts,
companies or departments to procure from communication or information as my be
conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the BWBA.

Strategy of BWBA to Achieve its Mission;
1. Provide a forum for the interchange of ideas and experience among business women,
2. Assist and provide bursary scholarship, grants, exhibitions, awards, capacity building ,
networking and memberships for deserving women so as to empower them to assume
positions of equity, responsibility and dignity in the business world;
3. Support and promote the equitable and just principles in support to the women business
and trade opportunities,
4. Arrange and celebrate Annual Businesswoman and Top-Business Year Award banquet,
5. Explore and Develop the Businesswomen of Tomorrow,
6. Organise a mentorship and counselling programme for women in business,
7. Arrange and Facilitate potential donors conferences, events, festivals, ceremonies,
meetings and special exposure visits to national and international levels in order to directly
support promote women business and trade,
8. Develop additional programmes towards achieving its vision and mission as and when they
are required,
9. Provide information on topical business, trade entrepreneurships, micro finance issues and
moral support for members in general and potential businesswomen and entrepreneurships
in particular,
10. Establish and maintain information Bureau, or print and publish journals, periodicals news
papers, books pamphlets, leaflets directories etc and to establish and maintain library and
reading rooms for promotion and access of information to its members but even to gain the
objects of the BWBA,
11. Avail and provide adequate facilities; for international exchange of information, technology,
and know how amongst various local and international bodies through exchange of
information trade delegations and other related matters,
12. Make efforts for the exports of business womens products of Pakistan in general and
Balochistan in particular in the international market through seminars, exhibition, forums,
meeting and trade fairs, business presentations, displays etc,
13. Receive and provide aid, charity, donations, grants, loans to any charity or benevolent
purposes or for the promotion generally of any matters of charity or other useful objects
with a view to establish harmony and business relationships amongst various members,
branches or mercantile communities in general and in Balochistan in particular,
14. Help aid and encourage manufactures of and dealers in industrial products and
commodities in producing and improving their products, sale and proper distribution by;
a. Suggestions and expert advices on the method of production, sale cheap carriage etc.
b. Maintain stores, laboratories and demonstration halls, stalls, and employing technical and
industrial experts on the staff of the BWBA on payment or otherwise.
c. Help in the export out of Pakistan and import from other counties of all industrial products
and commodities in all possible ways, advancing loans to or arranging loans for
businesswomen and other dealers and manufacturers for consideration or otherwise.

1. Identification and registration of 1000 potential businesswomen members around Balochistan.
2. Conduct 12 training for women business promotions, converting non-formal business in to formal.
3. Arrange 12 trainings on marketing efforts for women-run businesses, with a special focus on small
and medium value chain enterprises.
4. Conduct 12 sessions for potential members on finding market linkages for production of their
products both domestically and abroad.
5. Write at least 6 MOUs with concern Government and Non-Government departments sectors.
6. Arrange 6 sessions for women entrepreneurs for facilitating loan acquisition through engaging
banking and trade institutions and utilizing government and non-government schemes.
7. Provide interest free loan to 100 members of BWBA PKR. 5000 to 20000.
8. Ensure subscription and partnership with at least 6 business and trade groups, authorities, forums,
members, affiliated entity or partner of Government and non-Government organizations, local
municipal authorities, foundations, trusts and companies,
9. Arrange 2 exhibitions for the promotion of members products.
10. Participate in 2 national exhibitions.
11. Participate in 1 international exhibition.
12. Celebrate Annual Businesswoman and Top-Business Year Award Ceremony.
13. Organise 2 mentorship and counselling programmes for women in business.
14. Arrange and Facilitate potential donors conferences, events, festivals, ceremonies, meetings and
special exposure visits to national and international levels in order to directly support promote
women business and trade

The Associations key purpose is to engage potential women members that
are both interested and willing to start or already have any legal business as
per Law of Pakistan Trade and Small Industries Rules and Regulations
allowed in Pakistan and Abroad. Businesses included but are not limited to
General Trading, Manufacturing, Packaging, Advertising, Commodities,
Finance, Management Services, Information Technology, Driving Schools
and Training Centers, Agricultural, Agro-Industries, Amusement Caterers,
Printing and Publications, Restaurants, Furniture, Adhesives, Chemicals,
Laboratory Home Industries, Textiles and particular attention to enhance the
formal business of handicrafts particularly in Balochi Embroidery Mirror
Work, Carpet from Hazara Community, Churma & Khamak Embroidery,
Hazargi Cross Stitch, Woolen Thread) Embroidery, Stitch
Embroidery/Textile, Kilim, Leather Embroidery, Marble Mosaic, Skills Of
Brahvi Women), Pushtoon Galabatoon & Pokhtak Embroidery, Stone
Cutting, Carving & Polishing etc.
