2.3. Effectivity display
If you access to figure from selection by 6 ATA Digits in the T.O.C, identical effectivity statement is not repeated for all AIPC figures.
AIPC Help module - ATRN@v Feb 8, 2012 - Page 7 / 38
2007 AIRBUS HDK V2.2
Within an AIPC figure, if there is only one effectivity statement on the top, this means that all ITEMS have the same effectivity.
AIPC Help module - ATRN@v Feb 8, 2012 - Page 8 / 38
2007 AIRBUS HDK V2.2
In other case, the first top effectivity statement is the global effectivity of the AIPC Figure (in next example :101-105 131-138). If ITEMs
have limited effectivity, specific effectivity is displayed before the concerned ITEM In next example :
for ITEM 010D, effectivity is 101-105 131-134,
for ITEM 010E, effectivity is 101-105 131-138.
For the ITEM following 010E, there is no specific effectivity, this means that the upper Figure effectivity is applicable.

2.10. Oversize / Undersize
2.11. Restricted Usage
This data is shown like an effectivity in AirN@v, but this information is not interpreted in FSN. This data is related to an item. This means
that the part with Restrictive Usage has to be used in the assembly shown with the item in RU.

Example of conditional spares
In some cases, replacement with condition is possible between two parts. The condition is only valid between parts linked by the relation
"if PNA, see PNB" or "if PNY, refer to PNX".
2.15. Symmetry information
When all items are valid for LH and RH sides, LH/RH information is only shown on the first item of AIPC figure.
example of symetry for all items
When parts are different in accordance with the side, (LH) or (RH) are shown in the DPL.

5. 4. INFORMATION SEARCHING
5.1. 4.1 Browsing in or among the documents
5.1.1. The links
Introduction
The text, which is the origin of a hypertext link, is written with a blue color and is underlined. To reach the target of the link, you can
click on any part of the blue and underlined text. There are several links which pop up an index result window. However, when
there is a single result, this pop-up window is bypassed; only the target of this link, is displayed, this dialog box being useless.
Link from a service bulletin number
In the service bulletin list of the IPC document, the service bulletin numbers found in the table bear a hypertext link. This link
allows you to view the items containing it. When you click on such a link, an index result window pops up. This window is split into
two columns. The left one displays the service bulletin number with its revision and the right one displays the CSN of the item
linked to it. After selecting a line in this pop-up window the document content frame displays the selected item (See Figures 51, 52
and 53).

Link from the Part Number File
In the part number file, you can find two types of links.
- The first one is borne by the manufacturing codes, which can be optional. In this case, a window pops up and displays the entry
in the vendor related list.
- The second one is borne by the part numbers. If this part number is basic then a related list of CSN is displayed, allowing you to
display the nomenclature to see how it is used. If the part number is not basic, by instance it replaces an other part number, then
the right-bottom frame displays information about the entry in the part number list describing it.
By clicking on this part number, you may obtain the list of CSN using it. Link from a Manufacturing Code to the corresponding entry
in the vendor list The vendor codes found outside the vendor list bear a hypertext link. If you click on such a link then a window
containing the entry in the vendor list for this manufacturing code pops up (See Figure 56).
