It is so good to know that our labours are for our Lord and not for ourselves,..What a
blessing to see God's family in action. Each one using the talent that the Lord has given
him,.We have had a really beautiful summer in the Lord and have received so many blessings..
We pray that you too have been blessed in some way through the Lord's work here in Costa Rica,.,
What a pleasure sind what a thrill it was to have Sally, Roberta and Don all come home dxoring
May,,,it was a delict to get to know our new son-in-law and to appreciate his love for the
Lord and for our daughter Roberta,. .Their wedding in July was a blessing and Janet was so
happy to be able to be there to help with "mother things", PRAISE THE LORD for always
providing all of oior needs.,,.. Please pray for Roberta and Don as they start their lives
together in the Lord

In June and July we had baptizims at both Churches, .The work goes well and continues to grow
in all three areas, .Janet was gone for two weeks in July and ^ally took over as cook and
housekeeper for Bob, They got along just fine and Janet was also able to visit with several of
you there at home, which is always a blessing for us,,,On returning to Costa Rica preparations
were started for Sally and Andres's wedding Au^st 'yTd,,,lATTy and Carol Clodfelter, Heather
and Heath, Dick and Louise Shelton (Carol's parents and Bob's Uncle and Aunt) arrived on July 31
pitches ri^t in and the wedding was beautiful with about 2^0 people and "rice and chicken" for
all.(a custom in latinamerica) They were also able to visit the Churches and get to know the
family of God here in Costa Rica,. .THANKS SO MUCH ra COMING:;
Sally and Andres will continue to work here in the Churches for as long
as the Lord allows,. .Please pray for them too, as they begin their
lives together in HIM,,,.
Things seem to have returned to normal since the weddings,,.We had the
fourth anniversary celebration of the Church building in San Roque on
the 12th of Aug.,It was a good time of remembering and seeing all the
Lord has done in these past 7 years here in Costa Rica.,The work began
with so few and now we have 250 or more people >rtio are a part of the
Lord's work,,.We are involved now and planning to participate in a 10
day revival of all the Evangelic Churches of Liberia, we pray it will
be a success in winning souls for the Lord, .pray we will do our part in
the follow up which is so very important to new members of God's family.
Please continue to lift us up in your prayers,,GOD is so good to
answer..HE is so wonderful and so fxill of love and mercy toward each
of us,.WE PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME AND LOVE HIM WITH ALL OUR HEART,. HE is
our very best friend and we pray that HE is close to you and caring for
you and filling you with HIS great love,,,GOD bless each one of you,,,.
